★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve brought both my cats in to Vetco and each time the Vet Techs and the Vet were so incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful. They really take the time to make sure your pets leaves with a solid, thorough treatment plan and make sure to go over it with you to ensure the price and plan looks good to you before proceeding with anything. I’m very happy with my experiences here and feel assured that my cats are in good hands whenever I bring them in!
April 30 · Sarah QaziI felt compelled to review because I had a genuinely amazing experience. I scheduled with Vetco because our regular vet was booked until next week and I really needed an appointment asap. I booked through the website and was pleasantly surprised to see they had next day appointments so I just went ahead and booked.First of all the service was so kind and timely. They called me ahead of time to let me know there would be a bit of a wait because they were short staffed but we were out of there within an hour or so. I believe we saw Dr. Heskett and she was super kind and took the time to walk me through everything and did not try to push any extra services or fees on me. She was super sweet and I could tell my dog was very comfortable because he came into his appointment shaking and panting and came out wagging his tail. My dog is usually really reluctant around men but he loved his tech, Christian.Overall it was amazing service and in the end it was very affordable. The exam fee is pretty steep, about $85 after the disposal fee and taxes, but I had the first time coupon which made the exam free this time. I will definitely trust them with Dante again.Thank you to the staff for the amazing service! I honestly did not expect to come out so happy.
March 19 · Grecia CardenasThis is the second of my dogs to take to Vetco Total Care at Petco. Dr. Llamas and technician Chris were very kind to our 82 pound goofball Labrador Retriever. We appreciate the kindness the entire staff showed to us: we went there for dog training with Megan as well. We learned something, too!
February 05 · Karen Bradford0 stars. Don’t waste your time. This is the worst location (I’ve been to Irvine, Redlands, Temecula, and Fontana at different times for different reasons). Their phones are never answered nor do they call back when you leave a voicemail. Their vets constantly force you to pay for an exam fee regardless of if it’s needed. We had taken our dog to the Irvine because we could be seen soonest at the Irvine location. While there, we notice blood in our dog’s urine. The vet recommended a urine sample. The Mira Loma location is the closest to us, so Irvine suggested we work with them. From the first contact, Mira Loma fought on processing the sample despite being ordered by the Irvine vet. They said they needed to do an exam first despite tests and xrays already being done at Irvine. We finally got it processed & a prescription written. The prescription expires in Dec 2025 and has 6 refills left. However, the Mira Loma vet left and now staff refuses to refill without ANOTHER exam fee & payment for the prescription. We are livid & becoming increasingly unsatisfied with Vetco, their customer service, their inconsistent policies, and their fickle vets. They have rotating vets so it’s unlikely that you’ll ever see the same one – which directly contradicts when they request the same vet who does the exam be the vet to fill prescriptions. How do they expect to refill prescriptions for a year when they can’t keep a vet for more than a few months? It’s a scam to force you to pay their exam fee for every little thing.I have talked to them multiple times and they refuse to be helpful.EDIT: 5 days later and I still haven't received a callback. Also the email I was told to send (in the response to my review) also hasn't been acknowledged. Case in point.
March 27 · KassandraLoved the efficiency, the kindness and customer service provided by all staff. Especially the veterinarian. Wasn’t even 30mins. And my dog was happy. Thank you.
