★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've been wanting to go hear for a long time and the wait paid off. It is such a nice store with beautiful and healthy displays of aquatic life and plants. The betta fish are treated so well with their own filtered tanks. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable about the hobby. 100% recommend for anyone looking to stock their tanks or step up their aquascaping game!
July 13 · Maryn CI was shocked to say the least at how wonderful this place is! The staff are super sweet and knowledgeable about plants and fish. Their plant selection isn’t comparable to any fish store I’ve seen in MD. Not to mention their prices are the most reasonable/cheap I’ve seen too! The head manager also organizes tons of giveaways, famous aquascapers, etc.I’m so excited to have found this place + Max & Mellow, the pup’s are a super sweet addition😊 And amazing displays!!!
February 27 · Anna ForquerImmaculately clean and really nice set ups for betta fish. The shop dog Mellow was a very good girl! 4 stars only because it is very small and selection is quite limited. I imagine they rotate stock quite often. I’ll be back to check out what’s new soon!
August 31 · Sarah CraftI visited this fish store while I was in DC for a conference and was blown away! The display tanks were beautiful, the fish looked healthy, and the selection of plants and equipment was stellar! All the staff members were kind, experienced, and helpful (including the cute doggies 🐶). In particular Christina was awesome and helped me out a ton while I was there 😊 I took 3 koi angelfish and 11 rummy nose tetras back home with me to AZ and they all made it through the flight and acclimated amazingly! If you’re from out of town you can take fish on the plane and the TSA agents at the airport had no issues. Would be returning to this store when I come back to the DC area in the future 🏛️🐠🌵
May 09 · Cris SBeen here a few times and there's always a great amount of healthy fish and plants. Christina is always super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Definitely one of our go-to spots despite the longer drive we have to make!
