Their professional grooming services are a major draw, offering everything from full-service haircuts to essential maintenance like nail trims and teeth brushing. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I actually never write a review. I will keep this short and simple as I do not like to be negative.I took my dog to this place for the first time today, 05/10/25. She needed to be shaved since she was matted. This was not the problem. I understood this. The groomer called me and said this to me, so I said, "Can I send you a picture of how I want her cut then since this is the case. She didn't know how to use the computer for me to send an email with the picture (I find it hard to believe after seeing her age). She passed me off to the front desk person, and I sent the photo right away. It was delivered no more than 2 min later. The groomer refused to talk to me because she overbooked herself and didn't have time to take 2 minutes to look at the photo. So the front desk said they would call me back. 38 minutes later, I had to call in to get a response if the groomer could cut her this way. In seconds, she said to the front desk yes. When I came in to get my dog the groom stepped out with her dotted hair and said "see I had to cut it in one chunk" I told her "That is irrelevant because I understand you needed to shave her. I did not have a problem with this. I have a problem with the disrespect of you calling me and then not being able to give me 3 minutes of your time to look at the photo first before getting off the phone."As I was finishing my sentences, she turned around and closed the door. Not only was she rude on the phone, and disrespectful, she was also this way in person. I paid $98 for this type of treatment on my very first visit here.I would urge the manager to reprimand this employee and potentially have her kindly exit the facility as she does not follow proper customer satisfaction. I will not give a name on here, but if you call me, I will. I will not be going back here and I would urge other to steer clear of this place.
May 10 · Sean LaNoreHaving just adopted a dog, the staff at Kriser’s was very helpful. From selecting food, toys and leashes, the staff showed me lots of options and recommendations. They help may be all ready for my new pup!
July 18 · Pam FisherFantastic grooming service. They always have our Newfoundland looking great. Despite a reasonable (yet arguably higher price) I always tip because the service is so good. I like grabbing a treat there after the groom to help support a quality IL biz.
March 14 · Andrew WallaceI love this store! I’ve been a Kriser’s fan for a long time but after relocating to this area have found this to be my favorite store so far. The team and management are great, the groomer is knowledgeable and patient with my anxious boxer whenever I need a nail clipping, and just overall great service. Sure it may be a little pricey but I think the service and quality of the items sold are well worth it. You get what you pay for, after all, and my fur baby is more than worth it.
February 02 · kelly piperWhat a great store. I have boxers with gas and sharing an office with them while working from home is hard on my nose and I think it may even be causing the paint to want to peel.Kieta suggested a gradual change of dog food and a great probiotic that will help them be less....aromatic.Wonderful service and fantastic product selection.
