Pet Retreat At Paramount Farms Reviews
Be forwarned. This place does not take geriatric dogs. I toured the facility, filled out the paperwork LAST FALL and only when I went to make reservations for this year's events/plans this week, I was told my 17 year old dog, who had been boarded for years at other places would not be accepted due to his age. But they could take my other two dogs. Now, if I had a place for my dogs, would I need boarding? What am I to do with one dog? Have people sign a disclosure for geriatric dogs or be up front and tell people you don't accommodate them before people make plans. I have my son's wedding and other major events only to possibly not be able to attend if I cannot find an alternative boarder. Very frustrating and disappointing for a facility that looked very nice.
March 14 · Nancy MalinoskySo very impressed with Pet retreat! I recently boarded my 2 pups for 1 week. They not only took great care of them, they went the extra mile for my pups. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with booking and drop off. During the stay, they supplemented my pup’s diet with rice due to stomach distress and they even bathed him prior to returning him due to him being muddy. I really appreciate them and the service they provide! Thank you!!
September 28 · HollyHarley has stayed 2 times here. We are so happy we found the Pet Retreat. Harley loves it and has made new friends. He enjoys playing with his friends. Paramount is always clean and very nice staff. They always give Harley the best care and love.
September 09 · Teena WoodWe love this place and so does our boy Max. It's a beautiful rural setting on a farm. Very well maintained and clean. Plenty of room for him. The staff is so friendly and good with the pets because. They know him and they treat him well. It's the only place we trust to take care of him and he loves it and they love pets. They're the best!
October 11 · MarcoImagine being a place that specializes in dogs and simultaneously discriminate against certain dog breeds. Their website doesn’t even mention that they don’t accept certain breeds, because they don’t want people to know that they’re not true dog lovers. Maybe reconsider your stance since it’s not supported by any studies done on dogs. They let Collies in that have been found to be the number 1 aggressive dog breed but don’t let in others based off of biases. Would not recommend taking your animals you love so much to a place that doesn’t actually love animals.
