As an animal lover, it breaks my heart to walk in there. Before I explain, I want to say I understand that Covid really messed up people keeping their jobs as well as getting jobs. My concern now, specifically the fish, I feel that if you have less workers, less time, etc you should take the amount of animals you have a way until you have more hands and money. The animals like the cats, hamsters and birds look pretty normal and healthy and taken care of well. But the first two fish I saw was stuck in a plant. I couldn’t tell if they were dead or not. But there were other ones that were in fact dead. Please don’t have fish especially saltwater fish if you don’t have the hands to take care of them 💔

They deserve -100 stars. Purchased a heating lamp and a light bulb. In two days my baby chicks had no heat as I woke up to find the bulb no longer working. When purchased I used cash and I have to rewards with them. Never in a million years did I think I should keep the receipt for a light bulb. Lesson learned. I brought even the original boxes, i gave them the exact date and purchase time they still didn’t help me with an even exchange. They claimed they can’t look up a sales receipt… Bs. They can. Any mediocre software system gives you a detailed sales report. I called their customer support, same answer: you don’t have receipt=nothing we can do for you. I will never set foot in any Petco stores.

I love this Petco. All of the employees that I've interacted with were helpful and nice. There's never a long wait when you need help in the fish department, or when you are checking out. My son loves to watch the employees while they are grooming the dogs. This is our go to place for everything our pets need.

This Petco is a chain retail store that sells products for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, ferrets, hamsters, and other pets. It also sells some small animals and some services such as grooming and training. I shopped here for my cats. The shelves were fully stocked with many brands. I thought that the prices were slightly high, but I found foods and catnip that my cats like. The cashier did their job well.

So I was hesitant about this place because of the scary reviews and honestly came here as a last resort since the Petco app wouldn’t let me book a cut at any other location nearby. BUT - I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and informative my groomer was, and my dog liked the place too, will hopefully make this place his main grooming spot.
