★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent and consistently compassionate service. No attempts at upselling -unnecessary- procedures. There is not a single soul I have interacted with at AZExotic Animal Hospital which hasn't touched my heart in some way. It's a great staff full of compassionate and warm people. From the reception, full of cheerful and kind persons who know my boy by name and are excited to see him... to my lil guy's favorite vet, Dr. Zion, AZ Exotic Animal Hospital is full of all-stars with winning smiles, and matching personalities and work ethics.I don't believe I have ever met who does the hiring, but you have an impressive eye for talent and integrity-filled hard workers ma'am/sir.Best vet/service experience in my life. This hospital saved my lil guy's life. He had terrible cancer that destroyed his wing and threatened his life. Unfortunately, he needed to have his wing amputated but he's only alive because of them and I'll never forget it.Thank you Arizona Exotic Animal HospitalAnd, thank you Dr. Zion, especially for the time and effort to save this guy's friendly little lovebird.Attached pictures exclude what the cancer looked like but date from ~February immediately after the surgery took place to a few days ago (in late August). These are representative of months my guy wouldn't have had.(Yes, I know it's an unflattering picture. No, I don't care - he looks precious. Look at that little foot!)
August 29 · J BelohlavekThe staff was very kind and treated my hamster carefully. Due to past bad experiences with different veterinarians, I am still skeptical of treatments but I am willing to trust this vet as they didn't seem predatory and cared for my hamster properly. The vet assistant did an amazing job handling Guoba! She was very knowledgeable and spoke to him in a sweet tone. She was efficient, kind, and explained the medications, dose, and expectations we should have for it perfectly!
May 30 · Ingrid RamirezAlways helpful and supportive. Provides extremely knowledgeable help for ferrets, a pet population that is often not well understood nor supported. Dr. Lewis is amazing, we would be lost without her! The vets at all facilities are our standing, their skill, commitment and kindness is second to none.
August 22 · Chelsea RheeDr Lewis and her staff are amazing! I wish I could take her on the road with me this fall when I travel. She's a great exotic animal veterinarian. Dr Lewis and the front desk peeps are the best! Friendly staff!!!!
May 12 · Tee GeeStaff are very pleasant and attentive. Receptionists were welcoming and helpful. My dragon was seen promptly and I was given a lot of helpful information. I felt that the needs of my pet, as well as my concerns were valued. I appreciate that it's a specialty hospital, so the staff actually has knowledge in less common pets.
