Brea Veterinary Hospital Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’d like to start by saying this review is not towards the wonderful woman who works the front desk or the two ladies who served my pup. Those 3 employees were consistently kind, compassionate, patient, informative and did their sincere best to help. That being said, the rest of the staff, mainly their current primary vet were less than helpful. Their turn over in vets should say a lot about their quality of care, it’s inconsistent. She lacks the ability to explain their products, vaccines, causes for illness, ways to improve quality of life, etc. In our time with her she could hardly maintain eye contact when asked direct questions about my pups condition/symptoms. With all my heart I HATED that I had to take my perfectly healthy pup there for his initial vaccine appointment let alone his end of life appointment only a weeks after…In his final moments of life the vet did not make it any easier on him. She failed to find his heart even with the ultrasound machine and poked him 3 times trying to put him to rest. My dissatisfaction and disappointment are a direct result of her quality of care and lack of sincerity when “helping” my dog even in the previous appointment prior to his passing. I understand this is a business but these animals are family and need to be treated as such.If you are in search of an OUTSTANDING, thorough, trustworthy and reliable place to take your beloved animal take them to Aloha Vet Hospital in Brea. Their quality of care is top notch and they genuinely seek to take great care of your pet so they walk out better than they came in. They also work with your budget so you do what’s important first! It is just down the street (no more than 5 minutes away). After my healthy pup began experiencing a decline post his initial visit at Brea Animal Hospital I took him to Aloha for help. I needed a second opinion and am so glad I got one. Sadly they weren’t open the day my little guy was passing so I had no choice but to go where I knew (Brea Animal Hospital) How I wish I could do it all over again and never step foot into the Brea Animal Hospital. This could be the life changing difference for your animal, I hope you find the same satisfaction at Aloha that we did!
June 02 · Katherine Calderon (KatherineArely)I am truly thankful for Brea Vet. These people really care about your pets like they are theirs and they will take you in short notice in case of emergencies. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable. My personal favorite is Dr. Forbes. She is patient and kind. All of the staff here are kind, patient, and professional and you can make appointments so you can avoid the wait that you would have at other pet clinics. Billie Jean and Charlotte love Dr. Forbes!
August 27 · Maria RobertsTook my kitten here after she woke up with what seemed to be an eye infection. I didn’t want it getting worse, so I called Brea. They squeezed me in that same day, and I was in and out in roughly an hour. Briefly read some negative reviews about upselling, and yes, I was quoted for some recommendations made by the vet. Although, the best part about having a backbone is being able to say no. I left with ointment for my kitty’s eye and a complimentary nail trim. My consultation was also complimentary as I was a first time client, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and friendly.
January 03 · Valerie AcunaThey saved my baby!!My senior dog was not doing well. I called my regular vet on a Monday and they told me that they could only see him on Friday. I told them that he needs to be seen sooner as he is sick. They told me that I can call an other vet. That is what I did. A call Brea Vet and they said to bring him in as a clinic appointment it is at a higher cost.I am so glad that I did. The wait was not too long. The did some blood test and found that he is a diabetic and started on medication. He is much better. The doctors follow up with him.Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Explain everything that is going on with my dog.I can't wait for Covid to be over so I can actually meet the doctors.
April 19 · G RI'm glad we found a new Doctor for our babies. Service is very good the staff very friendly and helpfulDr.M. she has a great bedside manner.
