Eye Care for Animals - Warwick Introduce
For pet owners throughout Rhode Island, the health of our beloved companions is a constant priority. While many local veterinarians can handle routine care, there are times when a specialized condition requires the expertise of a professional who focuses on a specific area of medicine. When it comes to vision and eye health, Eye Care for Animals in Warwick, RI, stands as a premier destination. Located at 988 Centerville Rd, this practice is a dedicated veterinary ophthalmology clinic, providing advanced and compassionate care for a wide range of eye-related issues in dogs, cats, and even exotic animals. They serve as a crucial resource for primary care veterinarians and pet parents who need a more in-depth approach to diagnosing and treating complex eye conditions.
The team at Eye Care for Animals understands that vision is a critical part of a pet’s quality of life. Their mission is to preserve and restore vision whenever possible, using state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical techniques. The expertise of their staff, including doctors like Dr. Daniel Binder, is consistently praised by clients who have sought their help after receiving limited success from other vets. As one grateful pet owner shared, "I brought my dog here after many attempts and go around with my primary vet. Dr. Daniel and his staff was very friendly, professional, accommodating and best of all truly showed passion for their job." This passion is what makes a difference, creating a comfortable and trustworthy environment for both the pet and their owner. Another reviewer, whose English bulldog had "cherry eye in both eyes," was effusive in their praise, calling the team "amazing" and highlighting their "caring" bedside manner.
Choosing a veterinary ophthalmologist is often a matter of referral, a sign that your pet needs specialized attention beyond what a general veterinarian can provide. Eye Care for Animals is well-equipped to handle these cases, from common issues like "cherry eye" to more complex conditions requiring reconstructive or ocular surgery. Their collaborative approach means they work closely with your primary vet, ensuring a seamless continuity of care. This teamwork, combined with their advanced skills and genuine compassion, provides a level of care that is both highly effective and deeply reassuring. The success stories, like Bella the dog who is "happy, healthy and back to normal," and the English bulldog with "the most beautiful little girl" eyes after surgery, speak to the clinic's exceptional results and commitment to their patients' well-being.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I brought my dog here after many attempts and go around with my primary vet. Dr. Daniel and his staff was very friendly, professional, accommodating and best of all truly showed passion for their job. I felt comfortable and so did my dog. A big thanks to the team for their trustworthiness and for helping my girl Bella. She’s happy healthy and back to normal. Would highly recommend.
April 26 · RebeccaDr binder and the entire staff at eye care for animals is amazing! My 7 month old English bulldog had cherry eye in both eyes. From the 1st initial visit, to her surgery they were fantastic. The bedside manner was so caring! We didn't realize how big her eyes actually are. Now we have the most beautiful little girl! She will definitely be returning if she has any other eye issues(we're hoping she doesn't have any)! Before and after pictures attached!
June 25 · Amanda RobbinsI simply cannot say enough good things about our experience! This was an emergency situation (from trauma my Chihuahua had received), and I had to also bring my puppy with me because he had a dermatologist appointment immediately following this appointment. The entire staff was wonderful! Dr. Binder was thorough in explaining everything happening with Blair’s eye, even drawing a diagram on the whiteboard so I could visualize it, and thoroughly explaining everything involved with her care. Christina and Lauren were both so caring and gentle with Blair, and had very calming energy, which I needed. Lauren even went the extra mile and took our puppy out of the room to entertain him while Dr. Binder was examining Blair, so I could focus solely on her and the information I was receiving. I am so grateful for being able to have her seen, the quality of care she received, and how wonderful everyone was. Thank you so much!!
April 24 · Melissa MessoreMy little guy Teddy was struggling with a stubborn corneal ulcer for nearly two months. Watching him, in pain, with his eye closed was heart breaking. Our Vet referred us to Eye Care for Animals in Warwick. Dr. Binder, Surgical Tech Christina, and the entire Eye Care for Animals staff were so caring and professional. Dr. Binder knew what the issue was just from our explanation of the last two months. Dr. Binder examined Teddy and confirmed Ectopic Cilia and scheduled Teddy for surgery in less than a week. Seeing the little guy wake up the next morning after surgery with both, big beautiful, eyes wide open was such a welcomed sight that words can not express. Thank you Dr. Binder and the entire Eye Care for Animals staff for helping my little guy feel better.
August 28 · Kevin Deloge SrStaff were super friendly and accommodating. Doctor Binder took time to talk to us and answer all of our questions. The entire experience while nerve racking was made smooth, informative and the staff made it as comfortable or easy as possible.
