★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Clean. Kind Staff. Patient. This was my experience with the staff, vet, and facilities at Healing Hearts Emergency. We were referred over for an all-inclusive examination of our little pup's heart to get cleared for anesthesia due to a blip in testing.I expressed a bit of concern and frustration with being forced to do this by our other vet despite the blood work having only a marginal rate of error outside of normal range. Both the medical assistant and doctor were patient, talked through our options, and explained what the package would cover. We didn't have a choice to only do a partial screen, but it generally made sense as to why (because we couldn't test for something specific as the blood work was non-specific).We also had to request special care because our dog has a back condition, and they were very attentive to her unique needs. The actual exam didn't take too long and check-in, payment, and everything else was easy. Our dog who is usually terrified was also less scared than usual (though still scared) because the doctor was gentle and thoughtful in her interactions.Would return again for any future emergency or heart needs.Thank you Dr. Durtschi and team!
August 19 · Yoshi B.I brought Albert on Saturday due to UTI symptoms. Albert also has diabetes and I was able to find out he was having complications. The Healing Hearts staff were very kind and informative. This was my second time bringing Albert there due to his primary vet office being closed on weekends. I am so grateful to the Healing Hearts staff for their compassion and efficiency. The attending DMV Natalie, the ER Technician Supervisor Cassy, and the Emergency Tech Assistant Samantha were all so thorough and professional. I highly recommend this animal hospital and know I have somewhere to take my animals that is safe.
May 12 · whitney westWe have gone here two times with our sick dog and each time, the staff was thorough and professional. From the front office staff to the vet, everyone took time to listen to our concerns, let us ask as many questions as we want, and approached us with one goal in mind- to get our dog back to normal.I understand that emergency services for a pet are expensive, especially if you don’t have pet insurance, but that isn’t the responsibility of a vet - that’s on the owner/parent. No one loves spending money in an emergency but I’m glad we have healing hearts available when an emergency arises so I know my dog is in good hands.
August 16 · AnbokharFirst, thank you to the staff and the Vet (sorry can’t remember her name but she was wonderful) on call that evening when we brought out sweet Charlie in. Unfortunately tragically and unexpectedly we would not be bringing her home. Our 11yr old Aussie had lots of fluid in the sac around her heart and was shutting down fast. They took her right in and from there everything happened so fast. Her diagnose and prognosis was not a good one. We had to make decisions fast and the Vet was so compassionate and honest with us, and while it was such a difficult time, we were truly grateful for her empathy and raw emotions. We were very impressed with everyone that we had interaction with. The hospital was very clean, organized and well staffed. The pricing was very fair and not outrageous like most emergency hospitals. It was after hours when we were there. Thank you!
July 29 · Mercedes NatvigYesterday was a terrible day for our family, as we lost our beloved lab, Charley. But everyone at Healing Hearts made our experience as smooth as possible. Every single person there is compassionate, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Right when we walked in, Mike got on the floor with us and listened to our concerns for our boy who woke up unable to walk. He kept calling him “the baby” when referring to Charley which made us feel like he really cared for him deeply. He even carried all 100lbs of squishy Labrador around like it was nothing. Dr. Supance was so helpful and explained everything we needed to know about what was going on in great detail, and took his time with us. Never once did we feel rushed into anything. Makenzie was fantastic as well. There was another tech who was very sweet and unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he had had plug earrings and told us how much he loved labs. Honestly for such a horrific sad day, we could not have chosen a better place to go and were just beyond grateful for the care and compassion Charley received.Do not hesitate to bring your animals here if you need emergency help. We will never forget everyone at Healing Hearts ❤️
