★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We could not be happier with the care that Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital gave our Scarlet. Our mischievous cat decided to eat a bunch of plastic off a water bottle case and unfortunately had to have emergency surgery to remove it. She is a very difficult cat to treat to begin with but she wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for Dr. Shalchian and the entire team over there. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist team and management are beyond helpful and caring and the staff literally goes above and beyond to help your fur baby. They were literally calling me throughout the entire night before her surgery providing me updates and working with me and my family to help our baby girl. Their post-op process is incredible as the instructions given were clear and their team even remains on stand by for you after you take your baby home. You won’t be disappointed by taking your pet to them. I love this place!
August 27 · Jennifer CunninghamI took my parrot here the other day because his entire back was an open wound. Originally, I was terrified to bring him in because vets have a huge reputation for being extremely expensive and often upsell or recommend things your pet doesn’t actually need.Dr. Christine Bobula, the exotics veterinarian who saw my bird, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly sweet and professional, answering all of our questions with care and patience. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She immediately came up with a recommended treatment plan and solution for the best possible outcome—huge thank you to her!The rest of the staff was also extremely kind and patient from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.As for pricing, I’m not going to lie—I was shocked in the best way. Considering this is a 24-hour emergency vet hospital in the city of Irvine, it’s unbelievable that they only charge $99 for the exam. I sincerely hope their pricing never changes because it’s the fairest I’ve ever seen. The cost for everything that was done was more than reasonable, and I was happy to pay it—just like I’ll be happy to return in the future.Thank you all for being so great! ❤️
July 30 · Julio ArandaWe’re so thankful to the entire team at Irvine Valley Vet for the incredible care they gave our dog, Sasha, during her emergency surgery and hospitalization.Their communication was outstanding — constant updates through phone calls, their app, and even photos of Sasha that gave us so much comfort while she was away from home. From intake to discharge, every person we interacted with was kind, compassionate, and truly cared about Sasha’s recovery. We’re beyond grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again.
April 12 · Kim PohasI absolutely love this hospital. I needed to take my bunny to urgent care at 2 a.m., and when I called, they didn’t answer right away but they immediately texted me offering help. I took my bunny there, and they cared for her right away. The entire staff was very kind and compassionate. The vet who saw my bunny was amazing! She gave me several options and explained everything in great detail. I was nervous and scared, but they gave me peace of mind! They took their time, didn’t rush, and gave my bunny the medication she needed to get better. They’re open 24/7 and truly care about our pets. It’s hard to find a vet that specializes in exotic animals, but this place has it all. I totally recommend them to anyone who has pets!
August 07 · Valeria AyinThe vets, veterinary assistants and front desk team at Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital has been a real lifesaver for Wrigley, a rescued Husky. Today was no exception. Dr. Tarlan, Cailje and Javier helped with getting Wrigley xrayed, diagnosed, medicated and treated. Wrigley racked up a few bills in three months, but he taught me a lot in that time.
