★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After visiting many local vets, Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital was lightyears above the rest. From the first visit to the consultation for a growth removal, everything was clearly communicated to me and several options were given. Dr. Gregory and the admin staff were all wonderful and had huge smiles and were very nice and welcoming. Not to mention they did the growth removal surgery for a fraction of the cost that the other vets quoted me for. They were in constant contact with me before and even called after to check on how Leo was doing. They have a passion for caring for animals and it shows! The facility is very clean and very well organized as well. 10/10 would recommend Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital and Dr. Gregory! Thank you for taking care of Leo!
May 10 · Christopher RyanUpdate April 2025: once again beyond five stars. Dr Hersh treated Bailey today for the second time in a few weeks. Every single employee is so very kind. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. My husband and I have been receiving the highest standard of care (for our pets) for at least 25 years.Update: July 2021. Just had Bailey checked. Michelle the vet tech is a wonderful addition to the animal hospital. She twisted warmth and compassion. Dr Meyer was great w Bailey! We even saw our other friends - techs and office staff. I cannot begin to describe how much Dr .Meyer, and Drs Gregory and Ferrari have done taking such amazing care of all of my pets. My dogs Zippy, Zoe, Mickey and Bella all had special needs. Dr Ballek and Dr Meyer saved my cat w gastro issues. The doctors, vet techs and staff saw me through everything with them. Dr. Meyer is going to be cleaning Bailey’s teeth soon.I am so thankful to have such an incredible veterinarian.Since moving to the Lehigh Valley in 2000, I have trusted Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital with all of my pets' medical and behavioral needs.Dr. Ferrari, Dr. Gregory, and Dr. Ballek (no longer there) have treated my pets over the years. Their compassion, expertise and ability to explain options and thoroughly answer my questions makes me recommend this veterinary hospital. My pets' primary veterinarian is Dr. Michelle Meyer. She treated my first dog, Zippy and saw him through until the final goodbye. She also helped me with Zoe, my mixed-breed pup who became a registered dog with Therapy dogs international. Zoe developed Sudden Aquired Retinal Degeneration when she was two. She became completely blind. She had some thyroid issues, which Dr. Meyer was quick to identify. My cat also had multiple medical issues. Another dog, Mickey, was referred for a behavioral evaluation at U of Penn. These pets all had their "final goodbyes" at LVAH. Very peaceful (albeit tearful).Dr. Meyer now treats my dogs, Bella and Bailey. Bailey has significant separation anxiety issues and takes medication. Bella was previously in a wheelchair cart and now walks and "runs." They both have ongoing needs and Dr. Meyer is always so helpful, reassuring, and very positive with my pets. My dogs always look forward to their vet visits!! This hasn't been the case at other veterinary practices in the past. The office staff always is efficient and friendly. Joan even offered me the use of her baby strolls for Bella one day when she heard that mine was broken. Kristen always goes above and beyond when I call. She really helped me out the other day when I called and couldn't remember a conversation I had with Dr. Meyer at Bella's wellness exam in late February or early March. She got Bella's chart and read through it to find exactly what was needed.
April 03 · Jennifer WeinsteinI used to go to Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital, Bath. I have ZERO complaints about them and the original vets. Once they were purchased and closed, the Allentown location does not care about your pet. They would not approve my pets script, even though it was valid for 1 year at Bath, and my pet ran out of medication. NOW, they no longer work with Covetrus and I was never notified that I would not be able to receive my RX dogs food. There is ZERO communication. Find another Vet.
June 30 · Sara McCrobieDr. Hersh ‘s assessment and treatment of my 11 year old Pom’s condition was comprehensive and Teddy improved quite dramatically 5 days into treatment.I went from despair to having considerable hope. Enlarged heart pressing on trachea causing horrific hacking. For the time being at least, he seems back to his energetic self and the hacking has greatly diminished.
May 27 · SusanOur vet is Dr. Meyer and we are extremely satisfied with her expertise and care. Mary Beth and Jen are also fabulous and genuinely concerned for the treatment of our fur family. I Highly recommend Lehigh Valley Animal hospital. Our precious Angel is afraid and can be very aggressive so imagine my surprise and relief when I saw all was going well during Angel's covid time visit.
