Loving Care Veterinary Hospital Introduce
For pet owners across New Jersey, finding a veterinary partner that offers both a high standard of medical care and a deeply compassionate approach is essential. In West Milford, one establishment has built a reputation for its commitment to both: Loving Care Veterinary Hospital. This is more than just a place to get a prescription filled or a vaccine administered; it is a full-service animal hospital dedicated to the health and well-being of every pet that comes through its doors. With a focus on treating animals like cherished family members, Loving Care Veterinary Hospital has become a cornerstone of the local community, providing a comprehensive range of services and a level of personal care that stands out in the region.
The hospital's philosophy is rooted in compassion, a quality that is frequently highlighted in customer feedback. A review from a customer with a reactive pitbull beautifully illustrates this: "My dog was having a pretty serious ear issue I walked in explained my situation to the office with no appointment short staffed and backed up they fit us in with no hesitation! My reactive pitbull is the most calm I have ever seen him at a vet! 10/10 recommend awesome establishment and awesome staff." This testimonial speaks volumes about the staff's professionalism, empathy, and willingness to accommodate difficult situations, prioritizing the pet's well-being above all else. However, another review brings up a concerning experience, where a pet owner felt a lack of compassion and follow-up after an emergency visit. The customer was disappointed that the doctor did not speak with them about a concerning health issue, even after emergency X-rays had been sent to the hospital. The reviewer noted that "more compassion needs to be shown in this office!" This feedback is an important reminder for the practice to ensure consistent and compassionate communication with all clients, a critical component of building trust and providing excellent service.
Despite this one negative experience, the overall mission of Loving Care Veterinary Hospital, as stated on its website, is "to provide the highest standard of veterinary care in a compassionate manner, to develop an open, honest alliance with our clients and to celebrate the human animal bond." This mission reflects their dedication to building strong, trusting relationships with pet owners. They aim to be a partner in a pet's health, offering personalized guidance and care. The hospital strives to stay at the forefront of veterinary technology and medication, ensuring that pets receive the most effective and modern care possible. Loving Care Veterinary Hospital Reviews
My little 8.5 dog had a tech appointment for a dis temper shot, that evening he was trying to vomit and couldn’t. Later when we came home he had chewed his tail and chewed plastic from a pee pee pad. That night he was very restless & I grew very concerned. Office was closed this Saturday so I brought him to Delta emergency hospital in Wayne, where Dr. Mike was very nice. An X-ray was taken & said nothing was wrapped around any organs and would pass out in next few days. I returned to Dr. Steel’s office 12 days later for another tech appointment for vaccine, I told the tech what had happened and asked if I could speak with the dr. After several minutes tech returned and said was going to continue with today’s visit, I said ok but is the dr going to come in? She said no she has appointments. This was very concerning that she would not even stick her head in to see us. I then told the new woman at the front desk my concern. She said I could make appt but I couldn’t make what she offered. She then said I really don’t know what the dr will be able to do for you. Maybe just wait & see if it happens again. Really? Would anyone want this to happen again to your beloved pet? This is very disappointing & disturbing how this matter was handled in this office. Also Emergency vet had sent over the X-ray and until I asked never mentioned they had received it. Don’t you think as a courtesy they would have called to see if he was ok. The emergency vet office called to check in my little boy 2x. More compassion needs to be shown in this office!

December 08 · AlexatekThis review is long overdue, we took our 20 year old dog Buddy to see Dr Steele back in April of this year. We had just moved up to the area and our regular vet office closed for renovation. My dog was at the end of his life and our family was struggling with the very difficult decision before us. Dr Steele probably spent hours on the phone with us, we were trying to keep him comfortable and we just really needed a professional to stay in touch with at a very difficult time. I can't thank her enough for her compassion and patience with us. Sorry I didn't get around to posting this review sooner.
