Mobile Vet Introduce
For pet owners across the greater Los Angeles area, the stress of a vet visit can be a major source of anxiety for both pets and their humans. Getting an anxious dog or a terrified cat into a carrier, navigating traffic, and waiting in a crowded clinic can make a simple check-up feel like a monumental task. This is where Mobile Vet, led by Dr. Chris Cauble, offers a revolutionary solution. Instead of you and your pet going to the clinic, the clinic comes to you. This service brings full-service veterinary care right to your doorstep, providing a calm and familiar environment for your pet’s health needs. As a pioneering mobile veterinary service established in 1985, Mobile Vet has a long-standing history of providing compassionate and professional care for pets in the comfort of their own homes.
The core philosophy of Mobile Vet is to provide quality care while minimizing stress. Reviews from real customers highlight the immense value of this approach. One pet owner with a 17-year-old "scaredy cat" shared a deeply positive experience, praising the kindness and gentleness of Dr. Cauble and his technician. The at-home service provided peace of mind, with the team explaining and showing every step of the process. While some may consider a mobile vet service "a little" more expensive, many clients, like the one with the senior Rottweiler, believe the cost is completely reasonable and well worth the quality of care. For an anxious or elderly pet, the benefits of avoiding a stressful car ride and a noisy clinic are immeasurable. As one customer noted, the team's "transparency and thoughtfulness was worth every penny."
Mobile Vet's services extend far beyond simple check-ups. They are equipped to handle a wide variety of medical issues for a diverse range of animals, from dogs and cats to avian and exotic pets. The convenience of a house call service is a game-changer for multi-pet households and for pets with mobility issues. By eliminating the stress of a clinic visit, Mobile Vet allows the veterinary team to get a more accurate picture of a pet's health and behavior in their natural environment. The service is not just about convenience; it's about providing a higher level of personalized, focused care for each individual pet.
While Mobile Vet's services are delivered directly to your home in the greater Los Angeles area, their physical office is located at 820 Thompson Ave #2, Glendale, CA 91201, USA. This is where the team prepares for the day, organizing schedules and stocking their vehicles with all the necessary supplies, medicine, and equipment. The office location itself is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible car park and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. These features demonstrate that while they specialize in house calls, their physical location is also inclusive and welcoming to all who might need to visit for any reason.
The primary accessibility feature, however, is the very nature of their business. By coming to you, they eliminate the need for you to travel, which is a significant advantage in the heavily trafficked Los Angeles area. Appointments are recommended, and the team works to group appointments geographically to maximize their efficiency and minimize wait times for their clients. For any pet owner, especially those with busy schedules, an at-home appointment provides unparalleled convenience and peace of mind.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Cauble and his tech were so kind and gentle with my 17 year old scaredy cat and I can't overstate that enough. They arrived within an hour of making the appointment. Is it expensive? A little - but honestly, vet prices everywhere have gone up. The total price of the at home visit was only a couple hundred more than our usual vet (if that). The peace of mind of having everything done right in front of us, the speed of being seen, the transparency and thoughtfulness was worth every penny in my opinion. Your pet is the only one they are focused on and they show and explain to you everything they are doing and why. 10/10 experience if you have an animal that you're worried about and you're afraid that taking them to the vet might be more stressful to them- please contact Dr. Cauble and his team.
September 09 · K.C HCalled to get rates. My senior Rottie (who weighs in at about 120lbs right now) is going to need home vet visits as she approaches the end of her wonderful years as my baby girl. This mobile vet’s rates for their professional service are completely reasonable. Travel time is excluded (which is expected, electricians & plumbers expect to be paid for travel time so yes I’d expect a DVM to bill the same). Very polite, quick call back. A mobile vet with some kind of bargain basement pricing is not what I’m looking for. I’ll look for discounts for hair/nails etc not the life of my best fur girl.
July 19 · Monica BeauchampDr.Cauble is great. I was having a lot of trouble finding someone to come see my guinea pig on short notice, but he was here within 2 hours of calling. He worked fast and gave me all the information I needed to make sure my pets are healthy.
August 11 · Carmen CorveraJust called this vet at the recommendation of another. I wanted a quote for their visit fee. Just in case anyone else is looking, it's $90 just for the drive (from glendale to studio city), and then $95 for every 15 minutes of the visit (that's not a typo), and all services beyond just looking at the pet are extra. Maybe I'm missing something, but this is absolutely insane pricing to me. Not only that but the receptionist was flippant when I asked her to clarify that the $95 was per 15 minutes. I'm trying to find a vet because my dog is very fearful and I'm having a hard time sending her into the vet alone, but this is highway robbery.*To address the response below: The examination is the doctor's expert time. This is semantic pedantry. $90 for a 10-15 minute drive is absurd, as is $95 for each 15 minutes of time. There was no doubt about those being the charges, as that's what I was told on the phone. This is just a warning for any other pet parents who might be looking for a mobile vet. There are more reasonably priced experts available in the area.
October 26 · A WThe mobile vet is excellent! I have a semi-feral cat that the normal vet refuses to see. The Doc Cauble and staff make house calls and take care of my little guy and I don't have anxiety that my cat is going to die. This service is excellent, and I recommend them to everyone I know with a pet. All things considered it was cheaper to get a housecall and have all three cats looked at than take time off to take each cat one by one to the vet. I can't say enough good things about this business.
