Been taking our dog Thomas here for 16 years (yes, he is an extremely old dog haha). Really couldn’t ask for a better vet. They’ve treated him with so much kindness and do a good job every time. The doctors are extremely cordial and helpful with relaying important information as well. Prices are high, but relatively speaking, fair. If you’re in the Conejo Valley, don’t hesitate to take your pet here! Just to show everyone how good they do, here’s a collage of a healthy (lazy) Thomas:

I have been going to NPVC since FOREVER never had an issue but… the customer service needs to be worked on. Apparently whoever was working reception that was speaking to me on the phone today was rude told me “we didn’t say that to your mom” when all I was asking was she was hoping they would write down the instruction on the receipt.. and the rude lady said we don’t do that just what’s written on the box… please please work on that. My mom was told by the vet that it was going to be written for her and guess what….?? WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS WERE SENT TO MY EMAIL!!!!! So my mom was right. No need to be rude cause then I got frustrated. I appreciate the vets taking care of my pets and still love the practice but if you’re having a bad day don’t take it out on the customers… treat people how you want to be treated. Thank you.

I didn't bring my cat here, because I lost her in the parking lot next to this vet office. I talked to the staff here about what had happened and they were extremely compassionate, gave me some great resources for places to help me search for my cat and they also reassured me that they would contact me if she was seen or brought into their office. They really helped to point me in the right direction and gave me hope in such an emotional experience. Thank you to the ladies I spoke with at this vet office. I would definitely recommend this vet office, because it's obvious they truly do care for your animals.

I brought my parakeet, Fleming, to Dr Coscarelli for the first time on Saturday, and I cannot express how grateful I am for his care.Fleming's health had been declining, with balance issues, possible seizures, and potential vision loss.I was honestly expecting to face the difficult decision of euthanasia.From the moment we walked into the calm and welcoming office, I felt at ease.Unlike my previous experiences at other vet offices, there was no pressure for deposits, credit card information, or pre-filled paperwork.The atmosphere was relaxed and trusting.Dr. Coscarelli's approach was truly exceptional. He took the time to observe Fleming patiently, speaking to her in a soothing voice that calmed her.He listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained his findings.He was honest about the possibility of a brain tumor but also realistic about the potential risks and costs of further testing, prioritizing Fleming's well-being over unnecessary procedures.What truly stood out was his compassion. He reassured me that Fleming was not suffering, a statement that brought immense relief after days of gut-wrenching worry.He explained her condition clearly, noting her underweight status but also confirming her digestive system was functioning and there were no tumors.He understood the emotional toll of watching a pet's health decline and treated both Fleming and me with kindness and respect.He prescribed Metronidazole and Panacur Suspension for potential parasites.When I had a question about administering them, the doctor came out to the lobby to provide clear instructions, a level of personalized care rarely seen.His dedication to his patients and his genuine empathy are truly remarkable.He is a rare find in the veterinary world.
