The Veterinary Care Center Introduce
For pet owners in Connecticut, the well-being of our animal companions is a constant priority. When faced with a pet's illness or injury, we need a veterinary clinic that is not only equipped with the latest technology but also staffed by a team that treats our pets with the same love and care we do. The Veterinary Care Center (VCC) in Norwalk, CT, is a premier facility that combines an extensive array of advanced services with a deeply compassionate approach. This is not just a place for routine check-ups; it is a full-service animal hospital and emergency medical center dedicated to providing the highest level of care for a wide range of animals, from common household pets to more exotic species.
The VCC operates on the principle that every pet deserves access to advanced, specialized care. Their team is made up of skilled professionals who are praised by clients for their kindness and expertise. Whether it’s an unexpected emergency in the middle of the night or a long-term chronic condition, the staff is ready to provide comprehensive and thoughtful treatment. The fact that they accept walk-ins and were able to immediately attend to a 12-year-old Yorkie with pancreatitis, as mentioned in a customer review, speaks volumes about their commitment to being there for pet owners in their time of need. This level of responsiveness and care, often with the added bonus of clear communication and upfront information about costs, makes a stressful situation far more manageable.
What truly sets The Veterinary Care Center apart is its remarkable breadth of services. They are equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities that rival those of human hospitals. This means that a pet requiring complex procedures, such as a CT scan, advanced orthopedic surgery, or specialized oncology treatment, can receive that care without needing to be referred to a separate, external facility. This streamlined process is not only more convenient but also ensures continuity of care, as your pet’s medical history and needs are known and understood by a single, integrated team. Their dedication to treating pets "like one of their own" creates a warm and reassuring atmosphere, a feeling that is consistently echoed in client testimonials.
The Veterinary Care Center is conveniently located at 129 Glover Ave Suite 1A, Norwalk, CT 06850, USA. This central location makes it easily accessible for residents of Norwalk and the surrounding communities. The facility is designed with client and patient comfort in mind, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a dedicated wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These features demonstrate a commitment to serving every member of the community and ensuring a smooth and comfortable visit for everyone.
Given the specialized nature of their services, appointments are recommended to ensure that you and your pet receive the dedicated attention you deserve. However, as noted by a grateful client, their ability to take in emergency cases without an appointment highlights their flexibility and their readiness to help when it matters most.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing staff and doctors at VCC! They treated my pet like one of their own. My dog Luke loved the technicians and doctors!
July 23 · kimberly knappI went there with my 12yrs old Yorkie due to pancratitis, which my primary care recommended. They were very nice, I had no appointment and they took me right away and in a little while I was speaking to the Vet which she gave me her recommendation and we took. I picked up my little girl the next day she came running out and looked absolutely great. They took such good care of her she was back to herself. I even got money back from my deposit. Which is unheard of " THIS PLACE IS AMAZING". They actually care about your pet, which is like family to most. Thank you soooo much VET MED!!!!!
May 28 · Vic .RThere are no words to describe the great level of care our dog received from VCC. Dr. Ware was outstanding, extremely knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. His treatment gave us a long time with our dog Pippa but she finally succumbed to her cancer. The staff has been outstanding as well, treating our dog tenderly and lovingly. This center was so good, I commuted from Long Island (a 2 hour drive) to have her treated there. I would never consider any other facility for treatment of my pets based upon the care she was given. Thank you Dr. Ware and your excellent staff for having given our dog the gift of an extended life for both her happiness and ours.
December 17 · nitecaptI've had furkids for almost 30 years and have never had a better experience anywhere else. They take THE best care of not only your pets but of you too. Their bedside manner is top notch. Unfortunately I can't say the same for most veterinary clinics around here. Med Vet is the only way to go for your animals. Thank you to all the staff at Med Vet you guys are outstanding!
December 21 · Jennifer MongeluzoThis place is the best. They are called MedVet now FYI. But they have treated my four year old dog for a nasal tumor. We have done through radiation and Chemo and my pup is still doing great. They have such great bedside mannor that my dog went in there for a month every single day with his tail wagging, knowing be was going to get knock out. He loved everyone there so much that he still looks forward to going even after months of treatment. I can not thank these people enough!
