Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For New York pet owners, particularly those in the bustling borough of Queens, finding high-quality, efficient, and affordable veterinary care is a top priority. The Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located within the Petco store in College Point, provides a specialized service model that focuses on essential preventive care, making it a convenient option for many local residents. This guide will provide a detailed look into what makes this clinic a valuable resource for pet owners, from its streamlined services to its commitment to affordability and a positive customer experience.
Vetco's core mission is to make routine veterinary services more accessible. By operating within a larger retail store, it creates a no-frills environment dedicated to quick and efficient care, primarily centered around vaccinations and wellness checks. This model is particularly appealing to pet owners who may not need a full-service animal hospital for every visit, but who still want professional attention for their pet's basic health needs. The provided reviews highlight a very friendly and efficient staff. One customer noted that the vet and vet assistant were not only quick but also "very friendly," providing a "quick yet efficient" experience for their cat's rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. This focus on speed and professionalism is a key part of the Vetco experience, catering to the fast-paced lifestyle of New Yorkers.
A significant highlight of the Vetco service, as mentioned in the reviews, is the inclusion of a quick wellness examination with the vaccination visit. This provides an added layer of value, as the vet takes the time to check the pet's heartbeat, ears, and teeth, and answers any questions the owner may have. This level of thoroughness, combined with the clinic's commitment to hygiene—wiping down after every patient—reassures customers that they are receiving quality care. The fact that the clinic maintains "affordable prices and quality care" is a recurring theme in positive feedback, demonstrating that it successfully meets its goal of providing cost-effective solutions without compromising on the quality of the interaction. For many pet owners, especially those with multiple animals, the availability of package deals is also a significant financial benefit, making the overall cost of routine care more manageable.
While the focus is on a streamlined experience, it is important to note that a Vetco clinic is not a full-service animal hospital. They are specifically for preventive care and do not typically handle complex medical issues, surgeries, or emergencies that require more extensive diagnostics like blood work. As such, they are a fantastic supplement to a pet's regular care routine but are not intended to replace a full-service veterinarian for all health concerns. The clinic's commitment to an appointment-required system helps to manage traffic and minimize wait times, ensuring a smoother visit. This stands in contrast to the often long, unpredictable waits at walk-in clinics, making it a more predictable option for busy pet owners.
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic is conveniently located at 133-11 20th Ave, College Point, NY 11356, USA. Its position within the larger Petco store makes it easy to find and access for residents of College Point and the surrounding Queens neighborhoods. The location is easily accessible by car, with ample parking available in the Petco lot. This is a significant convenience for New Yorkers, who often face challenges with parking. The clinic is committed to being accessible to all community members, featuring both a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. This ensures a welcoming environment for every pet owner, regardless of their mobility. Being located inside a major pet retail store also allows customers to combine their vet visit with a shopping trip for pet supplies, food, and grooming products, making it a truly one-stop-shop for many of their pet's needs.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
Very friendly vet and vet assistant. Very quick yet efficient. Came in for my indoor cat's rabies and fvrcp but was pleasantly surprised that my cat was given a quick wellness examination. They checked his heartbeat ears and teeth and felt him up. They answered my questions. They also made sure to wipe down after every patient. Pleased to know that vetco's care has improved since a few years ago. Please keep affordable prices and quality care. Was also shown available package deals. No frills. I highly recommend this location.
July 13 · Jessica KimVetco Clinic was awesome with my Dog Sheri, she was completely calm. The Vet and Assistant were both awesome.
August 31 · Blanca PabonGreat place they always treat my cat well
April 07 · mariah verasYour people in the grooming department just don’t follow instructions. The vet (not sure if is) and the young woman assisting her are the rudest, disrespectful duo I have come across in your business. I went there on Saturday to get a boardertella vaccine and I stood there right next to them and I had to wait until they finished their chat and bust out laughing before they attended to my dog. She also spilled half the medication on my hands and then she had the nerve to say “oh as long as a drop touches his lip he’s vaccinated”. I’m done with petco. 👎🏽
May 28 · rider10tExcellent attention for everyone, the vet she was very professional, checked my kitten and was very kind to her entire work team. Thank you ❤️
