Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located in Los Angeles, California, is a specialized veterinary service offering a convenient and accessible option for routine pet care. As part of a well-known national brand, this clinic provides essential, low-cost services that are crucial for the health and well-being of dogs and cats. For California residents, Vetco offers a streamlined approach to preventive medicine, focusing on Vaccinations and Pest & Parasite Prevention & Testing. The clinic is designed to be a hassle-free solution for these core needs, operating within a larger retail environment to provide added convenience for pet owners. This model is particularly appealing to those who are looking for a quick and affordable way to keep their pets up-to-date on their shots and other basic health requirements. The clinic is not a full-service animal hospital, and it’s important for pet owners to understand this distinction. Instead, it serves as a valuable resource for specific, routine care, which can be a great way to manage essential health needs without the added cost and time of a traditional vet visit. The clinic’s services are a foundational part of responsible pet ownership, and their presence in Los Angeles provides an accessible entry point for a wide range of people.
The clinic's approach is centered on making basic pet health services as straightforward as possible. By being located inside a Petco store, it allows clients to combine their pet’s health needs with their regular shopping trips for food and supplies. This integration of services is a key feature of the Vetco model. In addition to vaccinations, the clinic offers other vital services like Microchipping and essential health maintenance. The availability of these services under a single brand makes it a convenient option for pet owners who are looking for a consistent and reliable source for their pet’s routine care. While the clinic provides these services efficiently, it is not intended to replace the comprehensive care offered by a full-service veterinarian, especially for complex health issues, surgeries, or emergencies. The clinic’s role is to act as a partner in pet wellness, providing a dependable and affordable option for preventive care. This focus on a specific niche allows them to excel in their offerings, providing a valuable service to the Los Angeles community and making essential pet care more accessible to a wider audience.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic stands out for its focus on affordability, convenience, and accessibility. For a busy California resident, the ability to get vaccinations, microchipping, and pet supplies in a single, well-organized trip is a major benefit. Customer reviews, while mixed, provide insight into the experience. One positive review praises the friendly staff, organization, and great pricing, highlighting a positive and comfortable experience. A second review, however, points to issues with condescending staff and a lack of empathy. This shows that the client experience can vary, and it underscores the importance of communication and personal interaction. While the core services are consistent, the human element of the service can fluctuate. This means that a pet owner's experience will likely depend on the specific staff member they interact with on any given day.

- Comprehensive Routine Care: In addition to vaccinations, the clinic offers Microchipping, Pest & Parasite Prevention & Testing, and even Cat Dental Care, providing a single location for many essential pet health needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took my two 3 month old male Pomeranian brothers in to receive their second set of vaccinations. The staff was very friendly and everything was so well organized not to mention that the pricing was great! Dr. Holguin was very kind and thorough and asked me if I had any concerns? Which I did not. Everyone made my puppies feel so comfortable, especially when they were given the can of treats! I will always recommend Vetco to anyone!
August 11 · Tom BrunakExtremely condescending staff. I expressed that I believe my dog may have mites (because because she’s scratching often but there are no signs of fleas) and the person (they/them) at check-in completely invalidated my concern and was “so sure” that it was fleas… it’s not. They didn’t listen to a word I was saying; immediately judging me and jumping to the worst. Additionally, my puppy was being a bit energetic and playfully barking (which was annoying but not aggressive) and when I made it to the area where vaccinations were given, I made a comment regarding her behavior and how I had never seen her act that way (which is true) and the vet/tech literally ignored me.. didn’t acknowledge my presence in the slightest. So I said “hello” and they barely responded so I walked out and said they were “interesting people” what I really meant was that they were rude and condescending and acted like they didn’t want to help me from beginning to end. There was only one person who took over the interaction afterwards who was kind (short bubbly woman with dark hair).
August 21 · Keonte TurnerI've been here since they opened. 2nd person in line and it's been over an hour 25 minutes. However, the vet is very nice. She takes her time with you and listens to your concerns. If you are in a rush this is not the place for service. I give 3 1/2 stars due to the long wait; otherwise, 5 stars.
March 09 · Time2danzThe Veterinarians and Assistants were very kind and thorough! Being able to see and be with my dog during his visit is everything I wanted. The service and costs are excellent. I’ve stopped going to my neighborhood vet because they price gouge and will not allow you to be in the room when your pet is being treated. It’s crazy! Vetco is my new Vet Clinic for all of my fur baby’s needs! Thank you!
July 20 · Claudine SaidThe actually service was 5 stars. But the flea medication that I paid over $200 for does not work. My cats still have fleas. They are indoor cats and the environment is free of fleas. They got fleas from our family dog early in the summer and for the past 2 months the flea meds have not worked. The family dog also still has fleas. The meds did not work for her either.Don’t waste your money on the prescription meds. It’s clear fleas are now immune to these as well.
