★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1First, everyone was nice. But the rest? It’s sort of meyhem to be honest. I asked what color was the puppy I wanted to buy, they called it a “blue Merle” and while I wasn’t familiar with that term, I accepted it was “purebred” even if it wasn’t registered… as advertised… come to find out it’s not. I called the store the very next day with my concerns. After doing some research, I found that the puppy they sold me as a purebred was, in fact, not a purebred cocker spaniel. They insisted she was a purebred, cocker spaniel, even if she wasn’t registered. I told him I understood that the puppy nor the puppies parents were registered, but the dogs pattern proves she is not purebred. After going round and round with the person on the phone, which was a manager, and very nice, it was clear we obviously did not see eye to eye. They offered a refund for me to return the puppy. I didn’t want to return the puppy so I had a couple of other suggestions. I asked if the breeder could pick out another purebred puppy for me, which the manager said that was never gonna happen. In a way, I get it. So then I asked, If she could get in touch with the breeder and get the pedigree of both mom and dad. The parents of the puppy I had bought. This is where it gets frustrating, I tried to explain that in order for a puppy to be pure bred the genetics had to be tested, or the pedigree had to be documented, even if it wasn’t Registered, there was a way to prove that the mom and dad produced a purebred cocker spaniel. I don’t know if I did not Explain well enough, but in the end, the manager said that she could guarantee that puppy didn’t come from thin air, that the puppy came from its mom and dad, and that the mom and dad, both clearly had full blooded, pure breed, cocker spaniel traits 😑🤦🏻♀️ well I let it go bc it was clear I wasn’t getting through to her and suggested a third option … I asked for an extension on the health guarantee or that the provided coverage be more than what they were offering (they were offering to cover costs ONLY up to the cost of the puppy for any congenital illness, which anyone who takes a dog to the vet for such things KNOWS it costs an arm and a leg for things like that to be resolved). And again, it was denied. In the end I took the puppy back. My issue, and why I’m writing this… is that I was sold a “pure bred cocker spaniel” with a “bi-Merle color” when any cocker spaniel with a Merle pattern can not be pure bred…. Scientifically, genetically, it can NOT be pure bred…. I ate the cost of buying the puppy kit bc they wouldn’t take anything used…. And I was like… uhhhh I took the puppy home, of course I sued everything… but I still want to purchase a puppy so instead of arguing what was morally right, I just kept it. All in all, don’t purchase anything “pure bred” here bc there’s no way to prove it is. And if you come back with genetic testing or proof that it’s not pure bred as advertised, they’ll just refund you and keep selling to others not educated on what it means to have a true pure bred animal.
May 29 · Kimberly BrooksThey have exotic pets and a nice selection of fish, birds, cats, dogs, and more. All pets and accessories were reasonably priced. The store is also 2 floors. Awesome little pet shop!
August 06 · James BerryI LOVED IT!!!! the customer service is also amazing, they are really sweet and kind explaining everything!!!
June 17 · JuliannaI went in for aquatic supplies and I was extremely impressed with their selection with the amount of space they have. The prices are very competitive with the big box stores and they have a much better selection. I am extremely happy I found this little gem!
May 21 · Lily HoeferStunningly clean and well stocked store! All, and I mean actually all, the cages and fish tanks and habitats were pristine. Animals were housed in large habitats with lots of enrichment items and many were for sale with their enclosures. The store is run almost entirely by women. They have purebred and rescue puppies and kittens, friendly pet rats, reptiles, amphibians, chinchillas, and on and on. They also have a kinkajou and some busy prairie dogs on display only. Go visit!
