My Pet's Paradise Reviews
My family loves this place! All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. We drive an hour from stroudsburg just to visit all the animals and to get more bird toys and supplies and it’s always a great time. We purchased a baby Indian ringneck and he/she is the light of our lives and has brought so much joy to our home. I would 100% recommend shopping and or visiting this store, they are wonderful!
September 05 · Toni CarfiI don’t understand what all these bad reviews are for. It is a nice place I enjoyed it there. There are bird stores that also let there birds out in the open in bins like these. It is good for the birds to get them socialized. They have hand sanitizer on the bins u need to put on before and after u handle the animals. The birds there are so sweet and that’s one of the reasons y. The one blue headed pionus is so sweet and letting me scratch his head. The animals there look well taken care of. They have clean cages and all the animals have the things they need. They have lamps, water, food clean cages they are well taken care of.
August 16 · Rachael LivelyIs this store's name suppose to be ironic? This place is not a "pet's paradise" on my last visit we saw a dead lizard in its enclosure, a father and son aggressively "playing" with Guinea pigs, they picked up the animals in a cardboard tube and flip the tube, dropping the animals down. No employee said a word, absolutely disgusting! Tropical birds kept in nothing more than overcrowded bins, with little to no enrichment. Please do not support businesses like this one. Animals aren't toys, they're living things, and deserve better!!
August 31 · M RComparing this pet store with the last one, I have to tell you that I prefer this one! The employees have been very friendly the times we have gone. We have had the opportunity to interact with pets and I consider that this allows them to adapt to humans in a safe way since if they have small children and approach them they will be friendly and will allow them to have a safe connection without fear that the animals will hurt. I love the variety of products and animals that the store has. Negative comments really show hate. I wish you much success and plenty of customers.
August 11 · Elaine OcasioMan, I thought the last pet store here was bad, but this is WAY worse! The open air containers to let anyone touch anything is wild, especially around small children. Animals are being kept in improper conditions. The rabbits and guinea pigs are WAY too young to already be away from their mothers. They can't even be sexed at that age yet. Very irresponsible. A simple Google search could show you how to properly care for any of these animals or in the very least give them a livable condition in the meantime. This place only wants your money and does not care about the well being of animals. The recent article promoting this place is laughable.Anyone who says this place is "nice" is out of their mind. Just because your kid can go in and touch everything does not make it a nice place. It's a cesspool of cross contamination and causing animals entirely too much stress.
