This location is definitely one of the cleaner Petco's in tge Los Angeles area. Its very spacious and not congested (doesn't look like a cluttered mess). The employees are generally very nice (although it's rare to see them on the floor) it can ve like playing hide and seek for help but it is a big place and they do have their own responsibilities outside of customer service.This location sells chinchillas, tarantulas, mice, hamsters, conure, iguanas, fish, and other species of reptiles, birds, amphibians. I dont like Petco or how they treat animals.. but this place seems like they genuinely care more than the average store chain. The animals also look healthy so there's some assurance that they take the appropriate steps to make sure the animals are well taken care of.

Justice was a standout today. Despite long lines, he managed two registers at once, keeping everything moving smoothly. He was professional, polite, and rang up my purchase accurately. Petco is lucky to have him—he’s definitely a keeper.

I’m not even sure where to begin. I’ve been bringing my two fur babies to your clinic for regular check-ups and had trusted your team with their care. Recently, I decided to have one of them spayed. We completed all the necessary pre-surgical testing, which cost over $300, and an appointment was scheduled.The day before the surgery, I received a voicemail asking to reschedule. I immediately called back and left a message saying I couldn’t reschedule, as I had already arranged time off from work. Later, I received another call stating the surgery was cancelled and would need to be rescheduled. I called again to explain the situation, and was told by a staff member that it would be fine to proceed as planned.On the day of the surgery, I arrived and noticed another person there with their cat. According to the very kind receptionist, only one surgery was scheduled per day, and that client had already been contacted to reschedule. That should have been a red flag, but I trusted the process and left my pet in your care.An hour later, I received a call saying the surgery could not be performed due to complications. I was also given medication for the night before and the day of the surgery — which now feels unnecessary and like yet another expense. In total, I’m now out over $500, and the procedure never happened.Thankfully, my pet is okay, but I’m incredibly disappointed with how this was handled. I would appreciate it if you would consider refunding partial cost of the pre-surgical tests, since the surgery was never done.

Never answers the phone for grooming. And when I do finally get an appointment I have to wait about 20 minutes to be seen. In the morning no one’s there to answer the door since they are always late. It’s a 50/50 chance my furbaby will be clean well so definitely not worth it. Will be going elsewhere recommend everyone do the same 😒Adding: What’s up with the rewards program? My grooming sessions are never counted and when I asked they said to call corporate since they don’t know but they wouldn’t give me the number either so overall frustrating.

I had an easy experience when I had to return a kennel and cushion that were too small for our new rescue dog. Also had extra help finding a size in a particular harness. I needed to exchange that as well; also very simple. I’ll be taking her to an individual training session next week.I can’t speak for all Petco stores, but this one is excellent.
