★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Worst place ever. Every time I go there I get charged for an exam/office call. I never get a full exam. The doctor goes straight to the problem and never checks anything else on my dogs. I have to request he listens to my dogs heart and lungs. Never checks ears or eyes, never palpates the abdomen, nothing! God forbid you want the ears checked while you’re there, that will be a separate charge. And don’t even get me started on them sharing their records. I’ve been referred to a specialist by them twice and the specialty hospital can not get records sent over. We boarded our dogs and they wouldn’t give me or send me records for the boarding facility. They are never there when they say according to the hours on the website. They never change their voicemail if they’re closed for something. Anesthesia wise, I asked what they use and they said they mask all the animals down with gas only, no matter the age, weight or diagnosis of the pet. That’s not right and is very old school. My one dog has severe reactions to antihistamines where it drops her blood pressure and she faints. He keeps prescribing them for her allergies and I have to remind him she can’t have them. It should be written in big bold letters as a reaction. They can’t seem to keep a regular staff. Every time I go there, there’s all new staff. Red flags all over the place. Went to another vet and they hear horror stories about them. I will never ever be back!!!!!!
January 16 · Jennifer KelschKnowledgeable vet. My favorite part is he offered multiple solutions at different costs - didn’t present only the super expensive option. I can tell he actually cares about his patients.Editing my review: while the vet himself is great, you cannot rely on this vet to be open the hours they say they are. They were closed for over 2 weeks over the holidays with no info on when they would be open. I ran out of my cat’s medication and couldn’t get it anywhere else because it needed a prescription which they never gave me.Besides the holidays, the hours on Google maps are almost always wrong. There’s no website, no way to know when they’re actually open unless you call. And when you try calling on a normal business day and then it goes straight to voicemail with no information it’s very frustrating.
January 10 · Rachel CountsOne would assume if you are calling a vet you are either a) trying to find a new vet for regular care of pets b) Need a procedure for a pet and are shopping for price or convenience or c) having a medical emergency of a pet. Now, a and b there probably is no immediate need. However, a medical emergency one would assume you would answer literally any form of communication. We've called this vet numerous times over several years simply because we live in Acton and it would be the closest vet. However, I still to have yet to actually communicate with anyone. Does this vet actually exist?
December 16 · Bilbo BagginsGreat vet. Another dog attacked my rat terrier, causing a good amount of blood loss and large puncture wounds. They were able to see my dog within the hour.
December 30 · Meghan ValentiIt was outrageous. They charged me $67 to " exam" my dog. When they knew the only problem was my dogs right ear. Then on TOP of that they charged me ANOTHER $55 because the "ear exam" was not included in the actual exam. So they charged me $117 for a 5 minute exam and when they were done they gave me a $271 bill. Outrageous doesn't even cover this. My pets could be on deaths door and they will not be going back there. I hope you all send a message to this place. It was just plain theft
