One of the most powerful features of Animerge, as highlighted by numerous customer testimonials, is the deep compassion and dedication of its staff. For pet owners facing an emergency, this human element is often as crucial as the medical expertise. One reviewer, whose dog was in a critical state due to a collapsed trachea, recounts the "love and compassion" shown by Dr. Freedman and the entire staff, who nursed the dog back to health. This story of a pet being saved and a family being supported through a difficult time speaks volumes about the clinic’s ethos. Another review notes that even during high-stress emergency visits, the staff has always been "wonderful and caring." This consistency in compassionate service, regardless of the situation, is a major factor that builds trust and loyalty among the New Jersey pet community.
Another significant highlight is the hospital’s integrated approach to care and its collaboration with primary care veterinarians. Animerge acts as an extension of a family vet, providing advanced or emergency services and then ensuring a seamless transfer of information and records back to the pet's regular doctor for follow-up. This coordinated effort ensures that every pet receives comprehensive and continuous care. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and technology, including a MyVet i72w Elevating Digital X-Ray System, which is a major benefit for both patient safety and diagnostic accuracy. This commitment to modern technology and specialized fields like cardiology and dermatology ensures that Animerge is prepared to handle a vast array of medical needs, from common ailments to rare and complex conditions. The hospital is also AAHA accredited, meaning it meets the highest standards of veterinary excellence.

Animerge: Newton Dean DVM Reviews
We've visited Animerge near the Somerville Circle for many years. Our visits have always been during emergencies with our pets. Though we've been upset, the staff has been wonderful and caring. They also coordinate well with our regular vet. On one occasion, an Animerge vet urged us to do an extremely expensive MRI, but she eventually accepted that this wasn't financially an option for us. They stabilized my pet band a senior vet directed us to a specialist who was able to heal my pet. If you have a pet emergency don't hesitate -- go to Animerge!
November 21 · Jill B. HartMy dog Lexy was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea and was in really bad shape when I brought her into Animerge Dr. Freedman and staff nursed her back to health and showed us a lot of love and compassion during my Lexy difficult time. Thank you all for the love and support without Animerge doctors and staff members my Lexy would not be home!!!
