★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot say enough kind things about this practice and its team: my cat collapsed this past weekend—I immediately rushed her to the nearest pet ER, which was Blue Pearl. The team of vet staff was incredibly swift in doing everything they could to revive my cat, but unfortunately it was already too late by the time we arrived. The staff was so empathetic and kind as they counseled myself and my fiancé through all of our options and next steps. They gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our kitty and we are so grateful for their support. While I hope a pet owner does not need to utilize emergency services, Blue Pearl is an incredible place to go in your pet’s time of need.
September 08 · Nicole MalamentThey took such incredible care of my dog, Bowie. Dr. Gibeon was so wonderful and kind. She spent time making sure I understood everything and I had what I needed to take care of him when we went home. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. Hoping your pet never needs emergency care but if they do, I can't recommend the 15th St BluePearl highly enough. Thanks team!
May 09 · Alison PerrisIn April 2025, we noticed some bruising on our 9 year old dog (maltipoo) and rushed him to BluePearl Hospital where he was diagnosed with ITP, his platelet count dropped to 2K putting him in real danger. He stayed in ICU there for 3 nights fighting for his life. It took a team of amazing Vets at BluePearl Downtown (and Midtown) to stabilize him with tons of medication and taper him down to bare minimum medication after 4 months so he can be fully himself. He is healthy and happy now; Thanks to BluePearl for saving our baby's life and being thoughtful.
September 04 · Jay AdlakhaI brought my cat here for a suspected urinary blockage. While being examined, he somehow had his back claw ripped out. There were three people present, including a manager. No one told me about the incident, so I discovered it upon arriving home and finding my cat’s back paw covered in blood. I rushed him back for treatment, so they bandaged it. They claimed to have forgotten to tell me about the injury, despite his paw being very clearly bloodied. They also refused to give him antibiotics to prevent infection, which my regular vet did immediately upon seeing him. When I tried to get documentation of the incident, I had to call repeatedly and get very unpleasant with a patient rep. I also ended up paying an additional $200 to my regular vet for antibiotics, bandage removal, and examination. I would also advise doing a Facebook search for this hospital. It is full of horror stories. Don’t take your pets to Blue Pearl.
August 08 · Tiara Winter-SchorrBlue Pearl punctured our cat's lung, while draining fluid, and did not tell us and then sent us off home with ridiculous instructions and medication. He died 30 hours later. We did not know his lung had been punctured until receiving a report. Our vet said he never should have been discharged and we only used Blue Pearl as an emergency because it was the weekend. Blue Pearl has not responded to any of our messages. Not one. So, given that experience and the amount of money we paid, we should at least have been given the courtesy of an explanation. Now we are minus a cat, an explanation, an apology, a lot of dollars and zilch. That's why I give them a one because there is no option for zero star reviews. Every time we think about what our cat was put through it's devastating - like losing his wasn't enough but causing him further suffering simply finished us off.
