★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My family has been going to Boght for over 20 years. The first time I walked into the clinic I was 4 years old! The team has always been very kind, prices have been great, and service is smooth. I love the holistic approaches and lazor therapy treatments they offer (haven’t had to use them, but if needed for my dogs I would use it). My only “complaints” are their phone lines are busy- which is good for business, but not so good for customers waiting on the line. The other issue I have is when I have a concern, more often than not it’s a “wait and see”. I’m all for not jumping the gun and putting the dogs under the knife if not necessary, but I do wish they offered more preventative care or diagnostic options/plans.Thank you everyone at Boght for all you do! From kennel attendants, techs, drs, and receptionist team- your efforts do not go unnoticed such a demanding industry!
July 23 · Claudia CanniffAVOID AVOID AVOIDI took my cat here to get spayed which was $300 (including a shot) no biggie there. The problem lays with the fact when I scheduled the appointment they told me 5:30 was the latest we could pick up, that worked for the schedule then day off they call hounding and demanding that the cat gets picked up at 3 forcing loss of wages by having to leave work early to pick cat up. Upon arriving they don’t even have a cone ready to go for my cat they CHARGE YOU again just for the cone and nor do they even put it on for you. The front desk are extremely rude, nasty, and treat you like an idiot. There are plenty of vets in the surrounding area that will go out of their way to make sure transactions and procedures like this go without concern because here they don’t even care that getting.a stressful procedure is enough and add on more difficulties and stress. Once my cat gets her stitches removed I will be looking for a new vet for my animals. I’d advice anyone reading reviews looks elsewhere.*** EDIT ***I called to discuss this absurd situation and the front desk lady immediately got an attitude saying “do you want a manager or what because I’m not doing this with you” and informed me the reason there wasn’t a cone on my cat was because “we have to pay for one” and “it’s too traumatic to take the cat out of the carrier to put the cone on and put them back in” but yet somehow trying to hold my cat down myself and put a cone on that I DON’T know how to operate is less stressful? And the manager was EXTREMELY rude they told me they “don’t always send a cone home” and that it’s “owners discretion” for a surgery that CAN NOT be licked and she told me the reason the cat didn’t have a cone already on it was because “if she’s not licking it we don’t put it on” which a cat fresh out of surgery and groggy is obviously not going to worry that second but why are we getting two different answers from two different people. The manager decided to get loud which turned into a yelling match and resulted in her screaming “goodbye” and hanging up.This place TRULY does not care about animals and only wants money. They should lose their practice, their licenses, and their jobs.
April 24 · Matthew McKnightI even take my own animals here! Just put my girl down a few months ago through them! Kylie: 0 stars for customer serviceArianna: 1 star for customer service since she was at least not laughing on the other end! My foster dog needs her medicine ASAP and they DONT ever have their phones on! Called all day yesterday to hear the beep beep.. call today to be told pickup tomorrow after 3? How can you do that? They were able to make an “acceptation” this time! Then went on to tell me I’m giving the meds wrong….. well trial and error will tell you I need to give a half in the morning and a half at night or my dog will profusely itch herself until she bleeds. Jeez
August 26 · Destany ApjohnIf I could give them zero stars I would. I brought my 6 month old kitten to them about a month ago for shots and a concern with maybe having mites in her ears. They said no she doesn’t have mites but did not do anything more than that. I took her to a new vet and they verified she doesn’t currently have mites but that she did and they actually gave her medication to help the very obvious brown and gunk they saw in her ears. Bought Vet also said she doesn’t have fleas, but turns out she has TAPEWORMS! If they had caught this and treated it, I wouldn’t now have to deal with the fact that my other cat might also have tapeworms which now has to be treated for that as well. Highly recommend going to any other vet but them, especially a cat only vet clinic.
June 02 · julia siroisThe staff and doctors are amazing. You can tell how much they love animals and it means a lot to a pet owner. Although my cats hate going to the vet they never fail to make the vet smile and the vet never fails to make me smile.😻❤ Naomi's (grey kitty) bite wound had healed nicely & the fur is slowly growing back. She was bit by her previous owners male cat & the wound was infected, which resulted in it opening & pus coming out.😢 Not only was she new to our home, but we had to traumatize her again with 2 vet visits.😲😾💔 However, it has been about a month now and she is really coming out of her shell. My tiger siblings Gouda and Cici (both 3 - birthday 7/6/16) finally accepted her and love her.💟 The siblings remain healthy and go to Boght vet once a year every year for their check ups.😉💛 Naomi will also go once a year now (she is 9 years old).
