Several features and highlights make Bond Animal Hospital a noteworthy choice for pet owners in the New York region. These points are often what create a positive experience and foster client loyalty, despite some negative feedback. The hospital's affiliation with VCA, a larger network, likely provides access to a broader range of resources and standards. The hospital’s founder, Dr. Elihu Bond, opened the clinic in the 1950s, setting a standard for "service, compassion, science, and ethical practice" that the current team strives to uphold. While customer reviews present a mixed picture, the positive ones provide insight into the hospital's strengths. One customer noted a "pleasant surprise," praising the clean facility, professional front desk staff, and a deep affection for Dr. Silva, who made their cat "completely comfortable" and was "very sweet." This speaks to the individual excellence of specific staff members and the welcoming atmosphere for new patients. A key highlight is the offer of a "complimentary exam" for new clients, which provides a great opportunity to get a feel for the hospital's services and staff without a financial commitment. This promotion indicates confidence in their ability to win over new clients. The hospital's accreditations and dedication to high standards are also a significant highlight. As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital, Bond Animal Hospital voluntarily upholds rigorous standards in veterinary care, a distinction that only a small percentage of veterinary hospitals nationally achieve. This accreditation is a powerful testament to their commitment to quality and ethical practice. The availability of a wheelchair-accessible restroom and a gender-neutral restroom further demonstrates a commitment to an inclusive environment for all.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The absolute worst! The are in disarray and dangerous to your pet. I brought my ailing dog in for blood tests and was told I would have the results in 24-48 hours. I was assured by the doctor that although she would not be in for the rest of the week, she would consult with the other doctor, get them up to speed on my dog's issues, and have the results shared with me in an informed manner. After not being called, I called them. They said that no doctors are available to read the results. They then told me I would need to wait 6 days until a doctor was back. All this while my dog is suffering. They are now looking for an outside doctor to read the results. It is a complete S-show. They used to be good but they've gone to hell. Please, please, please keep your pet away from this house of horrors.
January 22 · kevin ScherPleasantly surprised! Brought our cat Duke to Bond Animal Hospital for an complimentary exam (they offered this for new patients) and I have to say the place was very clean, front desk was very polite and professional and we (Duke and I) fell in love with Dr.Silva. He was completely comfortable with her which is easy since she is very sweet. I might have just found THE place for Duke!
September 09 · J TI have used Bond Animal hospital for my cats for about three years. I was very happy with Dr. Mason and Dr. Butts during this time and also loved the front office staff. They were always very attentive and caring. Over the last several months I noticed a big change. Most of the employees have left and now it’s extremely difficult to get an appointment, communicate with the staff, And feel good about the care my pets are getting.I’m also not pleased with the way the prices have increased. Please please please do something to address these issues or I’m going to have to look for another Clinic.
September 23 · Rita RomeuAs a former clinical veterinarian, I am a high maintenance owner for my beloved old dog. Dr. Singletary and vet assistant Masiel were infinitely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and caring at my visit today. Sincerest thanks and kudos to them!
December 04 · Orr RozovI have two cats and one dog and went to Bond Animal Hospital for the last four years.I was very happy for years with Dr. Lu, after her, Dr. Sanchez & Dr Mason and after they left, I had good experience with Dr Butts. All were great and I felt always well and respectful treated and they were knowledgeable and I trusted them.I also always appreciated very much the staff at the front desk and the technician team was excellent and so caring! The only not good experience was with Dr. Singletary last year when my dog had an eye infection but because of the other Doctors, I returned and continued with them. Now, I wanted to make a new appointments but Dr Singletary is the only one there and I absolutely do not want to go back to her. I am very sad, that all the others left in just the last 18 months.
