One of the most notable features of Country Willow Veterinary Hospital is its exceptional capacity for caring for exotic pets. As a customer review highlights, finding a vet who is not only willing but also knowledgeable and genuinely interested in exotic species like aquatic turtles can be a challenge. The doctor’s thorough and kind approach, coupled with their expertise in this specialized field, makes the hospital a highly valuable resource for New York pet owners with non-traditional companions. This is a significant advantage that sets the hospital apart from many other practices.
Another major highlight is the clinic's profound sense of compassion, particularly during difficult times. A heartfelt review from a client who had to say goodbye to their senior Bernese Mountain Dog illustrates the extraordinary support provided by the entire staff, especially Dr. Buck and Lauren. This level of empathy and genuine care during euthanasia is invaluable and speaks volumes about the clinic’s core values. It’s clear that they understand the emotional toll of pet ownership and are there to offer comfort and support, treating both the pet and the family with kindness and respect. This compassionate service is not just a marketing point but a fundamental part of their practice, fostering a deep sense of trust and loyalty among their clients. The availability of after-hours and critical care further reinforces their commitment to being a reliable partner in pet health, no matter the time of day.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My visit was great. Not many vets see "exotics" (I have an aquatic turtle) and the doctor was really thorough, kind and interested. She really seemed to care and she was very knowledgeable. I forgot her name but I would recommend her to anyone. The vet techs were excellent as well
June 10 · NikkiSaying goodbye to our beloved senior Bernese Mountain Dog, Honey was the hardest thing to do, but the entire staff, and especially Dr. Buck and Lauren gave both Honey and our family so much care, support and compassion (and even a Chocolate Chip Cookie)- that helped in so many ways we can't thank you all enough.
July 06 · Nancy McClellandCountry Willow is not my usual vet but they got my cat in when my usual vet had no appointment right before a holiday weekend. They were wonderful with Jenny! Jazz was exceptional handling her as she's not the friendliest/easiest cat to handle. Highly recommend them!
June 01 · Laurie HannonI have finally found a vet that genuinely cares. Dr Brian is just so compassionate and kind if you want your furry family members taking care Of with the love they deserve this is the place and the staff is also very kind and compassionate thank you Dr Brian!!!
August 29 · danielle varonSaturday morning emergency (just a hurt paw, but had to be seen before Monday). Patient on the phone, patient when I got there, explained everything, followed through with my prior vet, treated my sweet baby, lots of meds and blood work. Very affordable considering. I do, so appreciate that they took us in. Made plans for further care. Thank you!!
