Crown Veterinary Specialists Reviews
My cat Riley was a patient at Crown Veterinary for 2 years while battling heart disease. Dr Peddle, the cardiologist, was always incredibly helpful. He was always very informative and proactive with Riley’s disease. I am so grateful that my pet was in his care, he was certainly in the best hands possible. I forget the name the Vet Tech who works alongside him but she was very kind and helpful every visit as well.Dr. Miller was the ER vet the day I had to put Riley down and she was amazing. She made that difficult decision and process much easier for me and my kitty. She offered her professional opinion and personal opinion because she has a pet who is also suffering from the same disease. She was so caring compassionate towards both me and Riley.I would 100% recommend Crown Veterinary. They truly took such good care of my cat during this difficult time and helped him to live the best life possible while battling a horrible disease.Rest in Peace Riley “PB Nilla” you will forever loved and missed.
August 26 · Kahli Suggs-BarnesI truly don’t have the words to fully express how thankful I am for the entire team at Crown Vet ❤️. The level of care, compassion, and emotional support I received during my journey with my beloved Sparkles was beyond anything I ever expected. What they gave me wasn’t just veterinary care, it was grace, honesty, and kindness during the most heartbreaking chapter of my life.To Dr. Peddle, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your care gave Sparkles more time, time she wouldn’t have had if it weren’t for your expertise and dedication. When another vet from a different place gave us limited options and little hope (basically wrote us off and said to just put her down), you stepped in with clarity and compassion. You never gave me false promises, but you gave me what mattered most: comfort and more days with her by my side. Sparkles was able to live her final months with dignity, peace, and love, and that’s because of you. I had 5 more beautiful months with her from her prognosis. To Dr. Nehlsen, your support and warmth throughout Sparkles’ care made me feel less alone in the process. You always treated us with patience and understanding, and I felt like Sparkles was genuinely seen and cared for every step of the way.And to Dr. Vegliante, who was there for us on the most heart-wrenching day of all, thank you for your extraordinary compassion and gentleness. Making the decision to let Sparkles go was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but her heart was failing, and she had no quality of life left. You made sure her passing was peaceful, and you gave me the strength and comfort I needed in that unbearable moment. I’ll never forget it.A very, very special thank you to Kate, who was an absolute rock for me throughout this entire journey. Your presence, your calm, your kindness, it meant everything. I thank you for an eternity. You were there in ways you probably didn’t even realize, and I will forever be grateful for the light you brought into such a dark time.Through it all, no one ever tried to push unnecessary treatments or offer false hope. I was given realistic expectations and care that was always grounded in Sparkles’ comfort and well-being. Her condition — DCM — meant our time was limited, but because of all of you, it was meaningful, beautiful, and as comfortable as it could have been.To everyone at Crown Vet: you are truly a blessing from God. The work you do, the love you give, and the compassion you show, it changes lives. It changed mine. Thank you for everything.2/01/2020 - 3/12/2025 🐈 ☁️ 💔
July 28 · James LojaWe’ve been seeing Dr. Simon since June when our Cavapoo started having seizures and we are so thankful to be working with her. She is such a compassionate, patient, knowledgeable provider who is always willing to answer questions and go the extra mile for her patients. Our dog recently ended up having an overnight stay after having cluster seizures and she was even kind enough to email us a photo of her and our dog together so we could see his face and see he was up and alert. Even the emergency staff at the hospital is wonderful. I would recommend Crown Veterinary Specialists to anyone looking for staff that cares about their pets as much as they do.
September 02 · SierraIt's a great place for dog therapy. The professionals that work with my dog are very patient and good at what they do. But the place is very small.
August 27 · Vanessa VannBrought my dog here early on a holiday/Sunday morning 2 months ago. I called the emergency vet I had used in the past however since they did not have a surgeon available referred me to a few other places. Crown is actually very close to me as well. My dog gets into everything and had 4 episodes of vomiting up several pieces of jagged plastic. I called and was advised that they only had 1 vet there and that they were expecting 2 other animals. I advised her that I could get there in 15min or less but and she told me to come however we may have to wait. Facility was modern and clean. Exam room was relatively comfortable for my dog in a sense that I don’t think he realized he was at the vet. The doctor came in within 10min after our arrival to examine him. She provided options for treatment including just monitoring him. I chose to have an ultrasound done. As it was around 5am she said the tech would not be in for several hours but they would keep him there for observation, check his blood and give him fluids. She advised me to go home and they would update me as needed. About 3 hours later I called to check on him. The doctor got on the phone to speak directly to me which was nice. A few hours later she called and said although the ultrasound was positive for some foreign material it appeared to be small enough to pass which it did over the next 3 days. He was cleared to come home. Picking him up took a bit of time but there were now more pets there so understandable. Clearly some of them had more dire issues than mine. Every time a pet was discharged one of the techs would come out and discuss detailed discharge instructions and answer any questions. It was expensive, just as any other visit would be, however I chose to have extra services done to put my mind at ease( I have pet insurance which has been a blessing ). The estimate that they provided was actually $200 more than I had to end up paying. I was very pleased with my experience there and glad to know I have another option for emergency care.update 08/31/2025Had to bring Astro back on 08/29 because he found a disposable razor and decided to eat it. Unfortunately on the X-ray there was a blade in his stomach as well as a lot of plastic. I was given options to treat as well estimates for those options. I was very upset about making a decision but since I have pet insurance opted to have the foreign objects removed. The estimate and the amount charged ended up being much less than anticipated. The vet/surgeon was very compassionate and understanding and even gave me a hug because I was so upset. Astro was treated very well and I could tell how much they care about their patients coming in with various emergent needs. They kept me informed of his progress and answered any questions. Thank you!
