Hooksett Veterinary Clinic Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They were recommended to me when I first moved to the area, for my cat, and I couldn't be more pleased. Any time I have been there they are very busy, and I understand that they don't have time to chit chat, but time is always made to answer any questions I may have with kindness and courtesy. Highly recommend!!
July 24 · Catherine CollinsMy wife and I just moved to the area and needed a new vet for our two young cats, but we will have to continue our search. I want to start off with some positive notes. The people who work there seem nice and the office is clean and welcoming. That's about where it stops. Our cats have not once ever hissed at another person before, even the vet. When the assistant came in, she dumped our cats out of their carriers like they were sacks of potatoes then as the doctor was performing his checkup, she would spin them around the table like they were inanimate objects. When it came time to clip their nails, they wrapped a towel around them like theyre some sort of terrorists and tossed the cats around. As i was asking the vet questions, he was picking at his fingernails and it felt like he wasnt listening. I was so on the fence about writing this review because I hate saying negative things about a family run business, but this was so traumatic for our cats that at this point, I would rather drive all the way back to MA to our old vet. Maybe they are better with dogs, hence the positive reviews, or maybe people are either used to or dont care about how their animals are treated. But at our old vet, the techs and vet always took the time to pet our cats and were overwhelmingly kind. Like i said, our cats have never hissed at anyone before, even when getting their temps checked and nails clipped. But today they were so stressed out and would not stop hissing and growling.
April 21 · Chris KeeleyThis morning my beloved 17 year old cat was in distress, needing that final act of love and compassion that breaks our heart to do, and every moment counted. After 2 previous poor experiences at a local emergency hospital, I didn't trust them with my precious friend. Although Hooksett Veterinary clinic was already booked with appointments for the day, they understood the urgency and squeezed us in. I can't say enough about their kindness and compassion for me and my cat. I am lost without him, but forever grateful to everyone there for their kindness in our time of dire need.
June 27 · D DeRocheIt's basically a place for you to take your pet there to get what they need and move on. I mean, my dog is up to date on all her shots. My only criticism is that it's just not a warm and friendly place they just get the job done and send you on your way.
