★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I find Hopewell great so long as you have a healthy pet. It seems that aside from routine check-ups they have no clue how to assess and actually communicate diagnosis. My cat began severe vomiting in May 2025. I got a first appointment on 6/5/25 where they performed blood work. The blood work showed my cat was in good health. My cat's health began to improve and he started to regain weight, then a month later he began vomiting again. We ran a stool sample, no issues there. His vomiting intensified so I brought him in on 8/7, they ran more blood work and told me they would get me the results the following day. Up until this point, Hopewell had been doing a great job communicating and following up with me regarding results. Unfortunately this is when the wheels came off, and my cat was barely able to move due to his inability to keep food down. The following day they did not reach out to me, so I called them at 1pm asking about the blood work. I was informed that the results were in and the doctor would reach out. At 5pm still no one had contacted me, so I called again. I was informed that the doctor who had requested the testing was out, but another doctor could follow-up with me. That works for me, I wait another 2 hours, still no phone call. I drove to them and waited for the doctor to be available. Doctor Bucholtz met with me and showed me the results, which did not show any severe abnormalities. Doctor Bucholtz scheduled me for an additional CT scan on 8/9.The scan showed his intestinal lining was extremely thick and his lymph nodes were very swollen. Doctor Bucholtz said it was cancer and recommended a couple of options, but I informed her I would bring our cat home and discuss it with my family. That day his appetite picked up again and he began behaving normally. We waited to see if this would continue. On Monday 8/11 Doctor Tursi or Rutkowski called back to follow up on how our cat was doing. We spoke about his turn around and he recommended we continue with a series of antibiotic shots as it could also be an infection. At this point I was glad I didn't listen to Dr Bucholtz. I continued with the series of antibiotic shots but his vomiting returned a month later. When I call requesting that they call me back, despite leaving my phone number, they always call my wife's phone, making it very difficult to communicate with them. I have paid Hopewell Veterinary Hosptial almost $957 over the past 3 months and have nothing to show for it. My cat is still suffering and they can't even be bothered to call back at the number i requested.
September 02 · Matthew ShermanThe doctors here are very knowledgeable and kind. I believe Fiona receives the best care from the front desk, to the Nurses to the Technicians.
April 11 · Denise MontgomeryI've been taking my boy here for 9 years, and each time has always been a great experience. He gets his shots and checkups here as well as any urgent issue where he needs to get checked out sooner. The front desk staff is always welcoming and the doctors I have talked to have shown that they care. I've gone to other places before where I felt like they were just trying to milk every dollar from me but I never felt like that here.I can't thank them enough for caring for my dog when he was sick or injured. He is always scared and anxious when arriving but I know he is in good hands. Lately I noticed they are busier and that is understandable with the boom of more people getting pets, but every time I have visited here I did not feel rushed.Keep up the great work Hopewell team, you're literally saving lives!
October 03 · Tony KThey are phenomenal people very educated and I'm talking about the entire staff not just the veterinarians. Everyone goes out of their way to help you in any way that they can they return your call almost immediately they guide you and help you make good decisions for your animals and your best interest. I'll never stop going there
August 02 · shanon garrowI called this place at 10:36 AM on 08/15/2025 to ask a few questions. The front desk lady picked up the call and once she heard my foreign accent she hung up on me. I thought maybe the call dropped but once I kept calling back she never answered the call. I'm under the impression that I've come across a xenophobic person. I read good reviews about this place, but I was very disappointed with the way I was treated.
