Integrative Animal Care Introduce
In the beautiful and often tranquil landscapes of New York, a different kind of veterinary care is available for pet owners who seek a more comprehensive and personalized approach to their animal's health. Integrative Animal Care, located in Ancramdale, has become a destination for pet owners from across the state and even from bustling New York City, a testament to the exceptional and unique services they provide. This practice, led by the highly regarded Dr. Tina, combines the best of both conventional and alternative veterinary medicine, offering a holistic approach to wellness. They believe in focusing on preventive care and the ongoing health of the animal, not just treating symptoms when they arise. This philosophy has resonated deeply with clients who appreciate a vet who is not only incredibly intelligent and skilled but also truly cares about every animal that walks through the door. The clinic itself, a beautiful farmhouse and barn in the serene countryside, provides a calming and unique environment that is a welcome change from a typical city practice.
The core of Integrative Animal Care’s philosophy is its blend of modern veterinary science with time-honored holistic treatments. Dr. Tina is a proponent of a comprehensive approach that looks at the animal as a whole, addressing not just specific ailments but the underlying factors that contribute to their health. For clients who have experienced limitations with traditional veterinary practices, this integrative model is a game-changer. As one reviewer noted, when other vets said there was nothing they could do for their puppy's vaccine reactions, Dr. Tina provided a protocol that started helping immediately. This ability to think outside the box and offer effective, alternative solutions is a major reason why clients are willing to make a significant drive to see her. The team, including the wonderful and knowledgeable staff like Ronda and Nancy, treats every client with great respect, creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. This is a place where every animal is treated with care, and every owner is empowered with knowledge and options.
Beyond their unique philosophical approach, the clinic offers a broad range of services that cater to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and even horses. They are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, such as digital radiography and comprehensive laboratory testing, to ensure accurate diagnoses. What truly sets them apart, however, is their selection of alternative and regenerative therapies. These include chiropractic treatment, veterinary acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and herbal medicine. They also offer more advanced options like stem cell therapy and cancer screening, providing a truly cutting-edge level of care. For horse owners, the clinic provides specialized equine care with services like acupuncture and regenerative therapies. This unique combination of services means that pet owners do not have to choose between traditional veterinary medicine and holistic care; they can access both in one convenient and expert location. The practice’s ability to provide a complete spectrum of care, from routine spaying and neutering to specialized therapies, makes it a vital resource for the New York community.
Integrative Animal Care is located at 3051 NY-82, Ancramdale, NY 12503, USA. While the drive may be a journey for some, the rural setting and unique ambiance of the clinic make it a worthwhile trip. They offer a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom, ensuring that all visitors can navigate the space with ease. The amenities, including a clean restroom, further add to the pleasant experience. The clinic's location in a beautiful country setting, complete with horses on the premises, adds to the therapeutic and peaceful atmosphere. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Tina. She is incredibly intelligent and truly cares about every animal that walks through her door. Our puppy had significant vaccine reactions, when other vets told us there was nothing they could do, doctor Tina effortlessly gave us a protocol that started helping our pup immediately. We have no problem making the drive to see her from NYC, she is that good!!
August 22 · Sarah MThis place is worth the 90 minute drive I take when I need to go. Dr. Tina is exceptional and extremely smart and is focused on preventive care and the ongoing health, as well as curing my dog, if need be. Ronda and Nancy are wonderful and sweet and very knowledgeable as well - everyone treats me with great respect. Let alone what a beautiful place - a farmhouse and barn in the country with horses, no less.
November 17 · Eric ErstlingDr. Tina is just fabulous! She is incredibly knowledgeable, deeply caring and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! She really listens to the humans and takes exceptional loving care of her four legged patients. She is also on the cutting edge of all holistic healing practices. It is a privilege to be able to visit someone of her caliber.
October 27 · Elyse FurlongI became interested in finding integrative veterinary care for my 5 cats, especially after researching how manufactured cat food causes all kinds of health issues, and my cats were indeed having issues even with premium natural food. Dr. Tina did a more thorough examination of the animals than any previous vet. She detected a back injury in one of the cats that had gone undiagnosed previously. She suggested some supplements for some of the cats, but did not try to push anything, and is helping walk me through their diet adjustment. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and very sensitive to the animals' point of view!
February 28 · Lynne MeloccaroI brought my chocolate lab to Dr. Tina about a year ago because of a cough and hip issues. She diagnosed him with all sorts of things like pleckner syndrome and thyroid disease. Over time she had him on pages of differnet medications and supplements that were laborious to administer and very expensive. After several months, he started to become ravenously hungry and dropped weight really quickly. She suggested more medical procedures that we did but he was still loosing weight. She was forgetful of what we had already done with him and grew extremely irritated whenever I questioned her lengthy treatment plan. The last straw came when she told me he 'may' have pancreatitis and instructed me to fast him and commit him to her hospital, which increased his weight loss to the point where even my neighbors couldn't recoginze him. Questioning her again, she almost kicked us out of her building at a time where she said he may have this life threatening pancreatitis issue. I decided I needed to get a second opinion and with one blood test the new vet realized Dr. Tina had significantly over medicated his thyroid, which was causing the weight loss. The new doctor didn't even believe my dog had ever had pancreatitis. We took him off 95% of the medications Dr. Tina had prescribed and it has taken us months to undo the negative effects of her medical opinion. Dr. Tina was at best negligent and rude, and at worst conducted illegal malpractice causing my dog to become extremely ill for her own profit. I do not recommend anyone go to her for the care of their animal.
