★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1From the first phone call to the last, the team was friendly, compassionate and thorough. I was able to get my older dog Sammy in much quicker than my vet anticipated due to a tumor behind her eardrum. Dr. Cheng, her surgeon spent a lot of time preparing me for her pre-operative testing, and what to expect during the tumor removal and aftercare. She impressed me by researching the type of tumor which was benign and that there was a very small possibility that it could return, citing numerous research papers and studies. She has a very calm voice and sweet demeanor. I could tell she cared a lot about my sweet Sammy. She called me after hours to give a worried dog mama closure and took her time answering all of my questions. Sammy is still healing up really well after her tricky ear ablation surgery. Her assistant, Jeffrey gave me clear post op directions. From the first phone call to the last goodbye after she spent the night, I know we had exceptional care that exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Trista Cheng and team for your dedication and devotion to my dog’s health. I would highly recommend PacificCare Vet hospital for your precious animal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!! Consider getting pet insurance. With love,Erin Plumley, Sammy and new puppy Gracie
July 26 · Erin PlumleyTwo years ago Artemis was extremely sick and all the hospitals and vets would just tell me she was going to die and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. I was referred to Pacific Care by my other dogs Cardio team at Blue Pearl. Every other specialist I had called before them had told me the appointments where a month out and Artemis wouldn’t have made it. But I called Pacific and they saw her the next day. Within 10 minutes Dr.Chung had diagnosed Artemis. Because of this amazing Doctor and staff we have our puppy with us still and she is thriving. So thank you Pacific Care!
June 15 · Jennifer LomeliDo not take your pet here, there emergency service is bad. I took my pup in at 10am on Tuesday August 26. They got me into a room very quickly but I didn't see the veterinarian till hours later. They suggested several tests which I happily agreed to because my pet is very important to me, 7 hours and 2,300$ later they said we could go home and they would call me with the test results by Friday. The vet also spoke to me about the strong possibility of cancer. THEY NEVER CALLED. I spent the days leading up to Friday trying to come to terms with the possibility my dog could have cancer. They never called and I took my dog to another vet.. it was a bug bite.I just can't believe they would scare me like that, take my money and never reach out again. This place wants your money and does not care about the animals.

May 27 · Susan HPacific CARE Pet Emergency was incredible in a time of crisis. One of my dogs had eaten as sock which was stuck in his small intestine and he had to have emergency after-hours surgery. I was referred to Pacific CARE by a different hospital and was told that the surgeon, nurse, and anesthesiologist were all made aware of the situation before I took him to the Pacific Care facility, and all came in for the surgery after-hours late on a saturday night. The surgeon and staff kept me aware of what was going on before, during, and after surgery, and called throughout his stay to give consistent progress updates and pictures. The care that my dog received was top shelf and I don't think I would still have my dog with me if not for the amazing, compassionate, knowledgable team that worked on him.If your looking for the best care for your furry family member, look no further than Pacific CARE Pet Emergency & Specialty!
