★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Took my leopard gecko to this vet yesterday on 8/9. I came back home from a trip and noticed that my leopard geckos belly and side was black. Her care taker while I was gone told me she had been acting fine and was just a little lethargic throughout the time I was gone, but no black belly or side. So I rushed her to the Shohola Veterinary Hospital the same day I came back from my trip. Shohola Veterinary Hospital look her over and did an ultrasound on her. They told me that the only thing wrong with her is that she just had to lay eggs (which is typical for leopard geckos around this age to be doing) and the the black across her belly and her side was her liver. I trusted what they said and we left the Shohola Veterinary Hospital with a “clean bill of health”. 15 minutes into our car ride back home from hospital, I noticed my leopard gecko was acting weird and pulled over on the side of the road. I held her in my arms as she passed away. This is unacceptable for a veterinary hospital. My pet should not have been given a “clean bill of health” and then passes away 15 MINUTES after our appointment. So if you’re planning on going to this vet, take it from my experience, DONT DO IT. As for Shohola Veterinary Hospital, you will be seeing me on Monday morning when you open and I’m having a word with someone and my money back.
August 09 · Gavin PeterUpdate as of 7/3/2025: I’m from out of town and my poor cattle dog had an injury to her tail from some over-exuberant swimming. Luckily, this hospital was able to squeeze us in, right before the holiday, too! Morgan, who checked us in, was so sweet and accommodating and Savannah, the nurse, was so kind and I could tell she really cared about my dog. My pup loved them! Thanks to Dr. Gramazio, also, for taking my concerns seriously and for being able to fit us into what I’m sure was already a busy schedule. You guys are rockstars!Wonderful, caring people work here. The facility is spotless. Working in veterinary medicine is difficult and I’m so grateful to these technicians and doctors for taking such excellent care of my grandma’s cat, Otis.
July 03 · Ali RoversThey're the only vet I could find for my ferret and Dr. Gramazio is the best with him. Prices are fair even for emergency show ups. Hiccup is doing much better with the love and care he's received from the doctor and staff there. The middle picture is how he was when they seen him and the other two is how he's doing after care. I can't thank them enough for saving my handsome guy
October 27 · Chrissy CleverAt Shohola Veterinary, you can expect nothing short of excellence in veterinary care. Their highly skilled veterinarians possess extensive knowledge and expertise, coupled with a genuine passion for animals. They treat each patient with compassion, respect, and individualized attention, ensuring that your pets receive the best possible care.
July 10 · McAteer & Will Estates Keller Williams Real EstateI’m writing this review to inform other patients to be aware of charges to your bill that weren’t performed! That’s what happened to us ! We were told upon checking out by Kayla that even though Dr Demeo didn’t have a tool small enough to do the procedure and her vision wasn’t what it used to be we were being charged anyway! We were also charged $32.50 for one drop in each eye even though they were only doing her right eye! MORE MONEY!now let me say for nine months we were in Dr Demeos office every month , sometimes twice a month spending between $350 to $1,500 per visit I think Kayla attitude when checking us out was rude and condescending speaking to us like we were children ! Insisting this is what we’re paying , we were silent and shocked !we paid the bill and left knowing we were never going back! Dr Demeo left me in a bad situation with Bella , the next day I started making calls we went threw 2 inexperienced vets only to end up back at my original vets office which is a further drive for Bella don’t do what we did and pay the bill dispute it right there in office I will never let that happen again Dr Demeos disrespect towards us was unprofessional , rude and doesn’t care for her patients well being.MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.
