★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have two cats and anyone who has a cat knows to have a cat is to love a cat. Unfortunately, finding decent veterinary care that specializes in cats is rare. Cats require a holistic / a total body approach to health care. Although it can be difficult to find a team of healthcare professionals who understand this and that caring for both the emotional and physical ailments, but it’s not impossible as I have discovered at Scaredy Cat Hospital. After trying several Veterinary Hospitals in the area, a trusted friend (my daughter!) recommended Scaredy Cat. I have never been more grateful in my life for a vet recommendation. My cat Biggie is a rescue straight out of the woods in Alabama. He was a wild feral who has had a complicated health history. Most recently he was diagnosed with Diabetes and put on a medication by another well-intentioned veterinarian at another clinic. Biggie wasn’t getting better and that’s when I decided that I would bring him to see Dr. Flynn. She’skind. She’s smart. She loves cats. Dr. Flynn understands that sometimes treating the owners is a necessary function of her job as well. She is empathetic. She knows we need to be confident in the vet to be at peace that we’ve done the everything we can. I trust her and her staff with Biggie and can’t wait for them to meet Esther, his sister!
April 11 · Debbie HajecWe have nothing but great words for Dr. Wood and her staff! They took amazing care of our boy Charlie. The staff was highly attentive, detailed, caring, and had amazing communication. They went above and beyond caring for our boy during a critical time in his life. Thank you, Dr. Wood, Andra, Kayla, MaLinda, and Jeanette, for taking such good care of our fur baby and giving him back to us in a healthier condition than when we brought him to you. You are all amazing! In addition, a big shout out & enormous thank you to Dr. Wood! She is truly one in a million vets for working side by side with Second Chance Kitten Rescue and saving hundreds of baby kittens, and Mama cats every year with her extensive knowledge of felines & passion for the stray populations in need of help around the State of Arizona. She simply is THE BEST!If you want a Veterinarian who specializes in cats, has found things on numerous occasions that other vets miss, and truly loves what she does, treats you like family, speaks in layman terms, and doesn't rush you out the door and treat you like another number, give her a call. You will surely be impressed!
February 28 · Lisa RosselliIf I could give them 100 stars I would. After 6 weeks of my poor cat being misdiagnosed from another vet hospital:4 Visits and many hundreds of dollars later without improvement I finally decided to go to Scaredy cats for a second opinion and right away my poor Timmy was properly diagnosed and treated by the incredible staff. He was treated, medicated properly and feeling much better by the time we left the office. I am so thankful and grateful for the excellent service Timmy received at Scaredy cat today.
July 29 · Ana WilliamsDr. Wood and Kristen are amazing! I wish I had found this cat hospital earlier. They really care about the comfort and health of my cats. I look forward to going to them for many years in the future. Dr. Wood is so knowledgeable and kind. Kristen is so gentle and thoughtful with handling my cats. Thank you both!
July 18 · Elizabeth A. CorleyWe brought our rescue cats here after they were recommended by Second Chance Kitten Rescue, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they received. The team at Scaredy Cat Hospital chipped and spayed our cats and made the entire experience stress-free for both us and our furry friends. They took the time to explain everything in detail—from what to expect after the procedures to how to care for the cats during recovery. They even followed up with a call to check on them, and when I had more questions later, they called me back quickly and even offered to answer via text if needed. You can really tell they care deeply about cats and their wellbeing. I’m so grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and support. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch feline care!
