Staff was very helpful. I needed supplies to bottlefeed a 3 day old abandoned kitten. They did not have the type of nipple/syringe that I needed. A cat rescue ended up fostering the kitten, and they did not need some of the supplies I bought. I was able to return those unused items easily with my receipt and within the 7 day requirement. No questions asked.

As a long time animal rescue person, now seems mainly cats, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Fancy Feast 3.3oz cans I buy are now the same price as Walmart! Hooray! Kudos to you! You've had a few 'specials' in Fancy Feast appetizers which typically run about $1.38. Those were very welcome but make the discount abit better? That one was 'but 7, get 8'. I currently have a senior rescue kitty, 17 years old, and also 'special needs'. He loves these and gets 3-4 a day. Thank you1

It’s disappointing when people aren’t open to growing through constructive feedback. Since moving to Portland, we’ve been bringing our dogs to Petco every three weeks without fail. We’ve actually been loyal customers for over six years starting in California, ever since we adopted our dogs.At our last grooming appointment, the entire process took less than an hour from drop-off to pick-up, which made me a bit concerned that the service might have been rushed. One of our dog’s paws felt rough and scratchy, almost like the nails were cut but not filed. I understand that mistakes happen, we’re all human, and when I brought it up, the groomer explained the routine and reassured me, which I appreciated.However, when I picked the dogs up today, I was told I should find another place for future grooming. That was really disheartening. It feels like simply offering honest feedback, not to criticize, but to ensure our pets are well cared for was unwelcome. Instead of seeing it as an opportunity to improve and retain loyal customers, it seems they’d rather push people away. That’s not how a business grows or builds trust.

Took my daughter to this location to pick out a couple additions to our home aquarium. We found a plant, a small bristlenose pleco, a few ghost shrimp (3). We spent around 8 maybe 10 looking at fish and plants before someone asked if we needed assistance. I said yes and then told her what we'd like. At 7:41 I was informed it was too late to get fish because they were getting close to closing down and it was a pain trying to catch fish. I stood there bewildered for a second, then snapped back to reality, when she offered to get me the plant cause it was easy to get. Is that really the type of service you offer to customers willing to pay your store. You have workers who are losing your business money because of their general laziness and inability to catch fish without it being too hard on them. I'm sitting outside still with 9 minutes left to go before close and I see workers standing looking at their phones.....so this unacceptable. 37 dollars lost at the end of the day....boy that'd aggravate me if this was my business....because you can be assured it doesn't just happen to me this one time. How much money they pushing out the door at the end of the day. Don't come past 730 and expect to get much help.
