## What Is Worth Choosing
For pet owners in California, choosing the Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a decision to prioritize convenience, affordability, and a focused approach to preventative care. The most compelling reason to choose this clinic is its streamlined service model, which makes it easy and inexpensive to keep up with your pet's essential vaccinations and microchipping. For many, the high cost of a full vet visit, which includes an exam fee, can be a barrier to getting routine shots. Vetco's policy of no exam fees makes this crucial preventative care accessible to more pet owners. The online system for scheduling appointments and the location inside a Petco store also contribute to a seamless experience that fits into a busy lifestyle.
While some clients have had negative experiences with customer service, which can be frustrating, many have praised the professional and thorough nature of the veterinarians and staff during the actual visit. For routine, low-stress procedures like vaccinations, the clinic's efficient process and caring approach can be a huge benefit. The vets take the time to answer questions and provide recommendations, which shows a commitment to patient care even within a fast-paced environment. The clinic's accessibility, from the parking lot to the restrooms, further enhances the overall positive experience.
It is important to understand that a Vetco Vaccination Clinic is not a replacement for a full-service animal hospital for sick or injured pets, as they do not provide complex treatments or surgeries at this type of clinic. However, for a healthy pet's routine needs, it is an excellent and budget-friendly option. By making a distinction between routine and emergency care, pet owners can leverage Vetco's strengths for vaccinations and preventative medicine while reserving a full-service vet for more complex issues. In summary, Vetco Vaccination Clinic is worth choosing for its convenience, affordability, and ability to provide efficient and professional preventative care, making it a valuable part of a comprehensive pet health plan.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I scheduled services for Rabies vaccinations via the online portal for my 2 large dogs. I love the online system. Its very easy to make an appointment and search nearby areas. I chose the one in Montebello. Only issue was the street closures which were not necessary their issue but mine. I arrived about 5 min late. I was checked in. The staff was extremely friendly. After check in I paid then went to the back of the store. I stood in line to be seen. The vet performs an external examination. She answered any worries I had as well as recommend products for certain issues. She was very thorough and very good to my dogs. Love the process. No fuss. Definitely doing it here next time.
August 28 · Maria AraujoIf I could give this Vetco clinic 0 stars, I would.I have a 4 year old Siberian husky that I have been taking to them for vaccines since she was a puppy. I have routinely purchased her Bravecto flea medication from them - This last time I purchased it (on July 23rd) they gave the wrong dosage. On the sticker they place on the front of the box, in the section where it says Strength : they wrote 44-88lbs. But the actual dosage is in small print on the side of the box and it was for a puppy. We called them asking if we could exchange it and they said no - That because they weren’t the vecto reps we dealt with when we purchased it, they wouldn’t be able to exchange it. All we could do is call customer service. I said “So you’re basically saying we are out of 81 dollars?” And I was told “Yes, unfortunately that is what we are saying. All you can do is call customer service”. I informed them I’d be there to purchase another and they said Okay, we will be here until 7pm. They waited 10 minutes to call me back (after I already left the house) to inform me I’d have to take my dog in for them to provide the medication for purchase.I normally don’t lose my patience with poor customer service - I always give people the benefit of the doubt that they are having a bad day and that’s the reason for error or they doing as they are told, and that’s the reason they can’t accommodate. But this time, I was furious. And I let them know it. Very poor customer service. Shameful for them to treat customers that have been going to them for 4 years, like that.We won’t be back to any Vetco ever again.Worst customer service by vet assistant Emily.
August 06 · Careena CastroSo I was sent a text for my cats Smokey’s first appointment today 6/28/25 to come in early which I did. The young lady who was helping me was extremely polite and caring. After telling her my kittens story of who she was a little skirmish and was found in my backyard she took me to the vet to check her out. I was told by the vet that they only handle domesticated animals not wild ones. This cat has been an indoor cat for almost two weeks and will continue to be. I made my appointment in advance, followed all text messages to reconfirm my appointment and planned my Saturday out in advance for this, when I went back to reception I was told that my appointment was at12:20 and would have to wait to even see if the vet would try to see my kitten by a lady with blonde hair because there 12 appointment showed up. Why ask me to come in early to have to wait for a service that isn’t even promised? Completely unacceptable and unprofessional service. I’ve left a review on Petco’s yelp page about this, but your service was a complete and utter failure on so many levels.
June 28 · Mike RussellWhen they put a collar on my cat and he like okay. I'm not moving. That's pretty good. They do a great job and give you the answers you want and be surprised on the answers you don't want and reasonable price
May 31 · Carrie GaravitoIt's very easy to keep my pet up to date with Petco's yearly reminder when shots are due. Staff is great, courteous and gentle when handling my pet and answers any questions I might have or if needed will recommend a product that can help my pet if she's experiencing symptoms.
