Woburn Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Massachusetts, finding a full-service animal hospital that offers comprehensive care, from routine check-ups to advanced surgical procedures, is a top priority. In the heart of Woburn, the Woburn Animal Hospital stands as a long-standing and well-regarded institution dedicated to the health and happiness of dogs and cats. This facility is more than just a vet's office; it's a multi-faceted center offering everything from medical care to grooming and boarding. This all-in-one approach provides immense convenience for busy pet parents in the region, ensuring that all their animal's needs can be met in a single, trusted location.
The hospital's commitment to pet care is evident in its wide range of services and its approach to client communication. As one satisfied customer shared, the staff at the Woburn Animal Hospital were "very kind to me and my cat Gizmo," and the process of getting a rabies shot and grooming done on the same day was seamless. The ability to book an appointment easily and receive a reminder shows a level of professionalism that is highly valued. The staff's willingness to be "very informational, answering all my questions" creates a trusting relationship that is essential when it comes to your pet's health. This kind of experience highlights the hospital's dedication to making pet care as stress-free and positive as possible.
However, as with any high-volume medical facility, some experiences can vary. A different customer's review highlights potential challenges with wait times and communication. This review, from a new client with a 9:30 AM appointment who waited for 30 minutes without a "meaningful discussion" about their pet's health, points to the potential for a less-than-ideal first impression. The customer's desire to discuss their pet's concerns and the vet tech's focus on a "list of vaccinations" shows a disconnect that can be frustrating. This review serves as a reminder that while the hospital offers extensive services, it's always important to communicate your specific needs and concerns clearly. The hospital management, in its commitment to "Quality, Integrity, Compassion & Service," would likely want to address this feedback to ensure every client feels heard and valued from the moment they walk in.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everyone was very kind to me and my cat Gizmo. I was able to get my cat his rabies shot, and they took off his mats in the same day. When I called to book an appointment it was easy and straightforward and they sent me a reminder when the appointment day and time was close by to make sure I wouldn't forget. They were also very informational, answering all my questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for your pet needs!
May 04 · ZelumaronI hope the management of the Woburn Animal Hospital can see this review. I recently moved and need to find a vet close by. The hospital currently has a promotion of $25 for the first visit. My appointment was 9:30 this morning. My dog and I arrived at 9:29. The receptionist told us to wait for a minute. A few minutes turned to 28 minutes without any interactions. At 9:27, we were told to go into a room, a vet tech came in without any introduction and said your dog is due for a list of vaccinations and said let me take him to the back room. I said it’s our first appointment. Can I ask you a few questions and what my concerns are for my dog first. She said don’t you want to do blood test for heart worms. I said I’m considering it. And I also would like to have a test of his stool samples and urine samples because his breed is prone for bladder crystals. She said let me check and went back to the back room. The wait starts again. At this point, I took time off from work and waited for 30 minutes without any meaningful discussion or seeing any interest of wanting to know anything about my dog. I know at that point this is not a place for my dog and I walked out.
June 04 · Ella ZhangWe had a great first time experience with my puppy! They were very clear when I asked about prices, and they even have a pet play to help manage costs, making it more affordable! They were kind, gentle and very informative about my pups needs/future care plans.
May 13 · Kenna RichardPerhaps this is a better veterinarian office for dogs, but I had a very disappointing experience here with my kitten. The appointments felt very rushed, and I was left constantly advocating for my cat even on simple things. For example, at his first wellness exam I had to ask them to please take his temperature to confirm no fever. On his second visit I had to ask them to please weigh him so I could track his growth. Unlike every other vet I’ve ever been to, they do not consult on costs in advance (even of medications) so you are left with sticker shock when checking out.I finally decided to find another vet after they neutered my kitten while he actively had a double ear infection and an intestinal parasite - neither of which was I made aware of. They later admitted to a bad swab sample resulting in a false negative on the ear infections, and the parasite they left me one voicemail about (which I missed, thinking it was spam) and then they never followed up again. Even at a following in-person appointment, no mention was made of a recent positive parasite test still untreated. I only found out about the parasite a month later when I rushed my kitten to the emergency room for tests and fluids after a very severe bout of diarrhea leading to scary dehydration symptoms - still not knowing what was wrong with him. This is clearly not the behavior of a practice that consistently provides quality, thorough care to each animal. They did not conduct thorough exams on my cat and did not properly communicate with me as a pet owner. Again, maybe the level of care is higher for dogs, but I would not recommend this clinic to other cat owners.
