★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Arcadia Pets is located about 15 minutes from my home. I go out of my way to go there whenever I need something for my dog. The owner and staff, in my opinion, are the most knowledgeable about pets and they are a pleasure to deal with. It is nice to get advice from a local shop whose owners care and have extensive experience then to go to a big store with very little human interaction. Whatever pet needs you may have, I strongly recommend that you visit Arcadia Pets. You won't be disappointed!
July 14 · Ernest PellegrinoGot a green cheek conure from here, service is great, such nice workers and I like the caique on the desk
September 04 · Texting StoriesI purchased two maltipoos here. I can’t say enough good things about the quality and health of these two dogs who are now 3 years old . The vet said they were in great shape with no issues , excellent quality and condition . They have been wonderful pets and a HUGE part of our family . No issues at all (knock on wood ). I would absolutely recommend purchasing any pet from here .
July 16 · Jeannine VaccaroWOW. Went with my daughter to buy some exotic fish for her aquarium. Was impressed with the selection and friendliness of the staff. While talking to one of the employees my daughter asked about a bird she saw in Florida. Within 5 minutes the owner of the store had his ornithologist on the phone and identified the bird as a roseate spoonbill. We left with the fish we came for and impressed with their effort!.
July 13 · michael ajelloTheir dogs aren’t healthy. While I was browsing the store I heard someone asking why the dog they bought was incredibly sick and had to be taken to the vet and medicated and one of the workers said. “It’s nothing to worry about. It will go away.” Their dogs are very non responsive even when petting through the cages. U thought a few of them were dead. They used to have a blue and green macaw for years that they kept in a small cage. Their axolotls gills are very small and they aren’t even in any light! Their “tanks” are filthy! They have no air stone, no light, nothing! Not even a hide. While viewing the fish I noticed a dead one floating. It’s a cool store but they really need to change up their ways. Also it’s illegal to sell dogs in New York but apparently they are doing it?December 2nd visit: animal quality is poor. I noticed two dead telescope goldfish. When staff were told they left them in there. Fish were cannibalizing each other. One fish had dropsy. The tank above the baby ranchus had about 5 dead fish and one was fully rotted. Their eyes had been eaten out. Axolotl’s gills grew even smaller since the last few days I had visited. The axolotls are probably going to die eventually. Lack of care will shorten their gills more. Snakes don’t have enough light. One of their leopard geckos was shaking and trembling due to not having the right heat lamp. One dog I constantly see is a shiba inu and I swear it’s been there forever. There’s a poor French bulldog that looks exhausted and isolated. Their dogs don’t have the best life.
