Choosing Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a strategic decision for pet owners who prioritize affordability and convenience for routine preventative care. The clinic is an excellent option for those who need to get their pets vaccinated, microchipped, or treated for parasites without incurring the higher costs associated with a full-service animal hospital. The reviews highlight the professionalism of the medical staff, with one customer noting that their "vet tech and the vet were awesome" and were "kind and compassionate" to their puppy. This is a crucial point, as it shows that a low-cost model does not necessarily mean a low level of care from the medical professionals themselves.
However, the same review also pointed out a significant issue with the non-medical front desk staff's critical thinking and communication skills. The customer's frustration with the check-in process, which was complicated by a simple misunderstanding about a vaccination expiration date, underscores the potential for a less-than-perfect experience. This particular issue, while frustrating, also highlights the distinction between the medical care provided by the vet and the administrative support. For many, the value of the affordable and professional medical service outweighs the potential for a small hiccup at the front desk. The "fast, easy, and timely" service described in a different review suggests that, for many, the system works efficiently. For residents of Long Beach, Vetco is a worthwhile option for those seeking a practical, cost-effective, and professional solution for their pet's basic health and preventative care needs. It is an excellent choice for a well-pet visit, leaving the more complex medical issues to a full-service animal hospital.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
The vet tech and the vet were awesome. They get five stars. The person who checked me in gets zero stars. Three times, she told me that my dog could NOT receive a Bordetella vaccine. She was INSISTENT about the matter. I repeatedly explained to her that the shot was required in order for my dog to be boarded. I explained that his current Bordetella would expire before the boarding. I showed her my dog's vaccination paperwork indicating that the shot expired on May 20, but that he needed to be boarded from May 25 until June 2, but she kept refusing to check me in, saying that I could use the proof of the existing vaccination. I explained to her that May 25 is five days after May 20, but she still was unable to understand the matter and kept trying to block me for checking in my dog. I told her that I wanted to talk to the vet to see if my dog could have the Bordetella shot. She said she would, but she walked up to the (very youthful male) vet tech and asked him instead of the (older, female) vet. He had to explain to her that medical questions need to be asked of the vet. The vet said my dog could receive the shot and that he could also have an influenza shot. The critical thinking skills of the individual checking me in and especially her inability to grasp that May 25 is five days after May 20 were astounding and sad. While she was neither rude nor mean, perhaps she should not be in a position that requires some basic critical thinking and listening skills of her.
