★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been shopping at Petco at least twice a week for a few years to purchase crickets because I refuse to raise them myself. I used to live near the Butler location and every staff member was always super sweet and even went above and beyond to remember my usual request. I dont expect that at every location, but the general disinterest and rude behavior of the cashiers at the McKnight location is truly a night and day difference. When I ask for crickets, one cashier has repeatedly answered me in a very short and rude tone, just "no". I am always polite and nice - I am aware counting crickets is an inconvenience at times, but it's uncomfortable to be treated that way. His behavior has actively encouraged me to find a different food source for my pets. It may not seem like a big deal to others, but when I am there multiple times a week, I'd appreciate at least a nicer tone when responding to my reasonable and common request.
September 02 · Evangelene Connolly (Rae)Bought some hermit crabs and needed materials with my daughter from this Petco yesterday and Tom was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of info and some pointers on taking care of the animals. We'll return here for anything else we need in the future because of such a pleasant experience with Tom and the team at this location.
July 31 · Joshua MacCartyThey have an awful selection of dry cat food, they have almost nothing my cat isn't allergic to (corn/rice/barley/flaxseed). They don't have Purina Beyond grain free cat food but somehow the Kuhn's grocery store in the same parking lot manages to have small bags in stock? I need big bags, though!
June 23 · Abigail RoseFeliway diffuser, Meowijuana Catnip, and a bottle of Catnip bubbles. Basically a trip to the kitty dispensary.
September 05 · Derek EnglishThe young lady at the register is the most wonderful person. This is my second encounter with her she’s the kindest most positive person. Thank you for all your help tonight fitting my new fur baby 2 lb ♥️
