Andrews Square Pet Clinic Introduce
For pet parents in Huntington Beach, finding a local veterinarian that offers both routine and essential health services for their beloved companions is a key part of responsible pet ownership in Southern California. Andrews Square Pet Clinic, situated conveniently on Warner Avenue, is a local veterinary practice dedicated to the health and well-being of all pets—specifically cats and dogs—in the area. The clinic positions itself as a familiar and accessible choice for the community, providing foundational veterinary care with a personal touch.
The practice is focused on the core components of preventative health for pets. This includes ensuring all animals—from young puppies and kittens to senior companions—receive necessary vaccinations, routine check-ups, and essential surgical procedures like spaying and neutering. The clinic prides itself on offering a friendly environment, which is often crucial for pets who may be nervous about visiting the vet. Customer feedback frequently highlights the staff's efforts to make pets, like the customer's dog, Reba, feel "comfortable," and the appreciation for proactive services like vaccination reminders.
It is worth noting that Andrews Square Pet Clinic identifies as an Asian-owned business, contributing to the rich diversity of local businesses serving the Huntington Beach community. This local presence and focus on essential veterinary needs make it a practical and accessible option for many California pet owners seeking straightforward and necessary animal care.
However, users researching the clinic should be aware that, like any business with a public profile, there are varied customer experiences. While many appreciate the pleasant staff and services, there is a serious, unconfirmed public report concerning post-operative monitoring for a dental cleaning procedure that resulted in a tragic loss. Potential clients are advised to conduct their own thorough investigation and discuss all surgical protocols, monitoring procedures, and post-operative care plans with the veterinary team prior to committing to any procedure involving anesthesia, a due diligence that is recommended at any facility.
Andrews Square Pet Clinic is strategically located at 6023 Warner Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, USA. This address places the clinic in the heart of a highly trafficked, accessible commercial zone, making it a convenient stop for local Orange County residents. The clinic is easy to find, often appealing to pet owners who prefer a quick and uncomplicated visit for routine care.
The facility is committed to providing access for all members of the community. As such, they have implemented essential features to ensure ease of entry and comfort, which include a Wheelchair accessible entrance and a Wheelchair accessible parking lot. The availability of a Restroom on the premises also adds to the comfort and convenience for pet owners during their visit. This dedication to accessibility reflects an understanding of the diverse needs of the local California user base.
Operating hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with the clinic closed on Sunday. These hours are designed to accommodate the schedules of working families in the region, providing a reliable source of care throughout the week. Some clients have noted the convenience of walk-in availability for quick services like rabies shots, though it is always best practice to call ahead for more complex needs.
Andrews Square Pet Clinic focuses on providing essential and preventative care for domestic animals, specifically dogs and cats. August 13 · SteveI just read something on Nextdoor about a cat that was brought in for teeth cleaning under anesthesia. After it's procedure the doctor & staff left for lunch with no one to was the cats vitals & when they returned from their lunch the poor cat was dead! Couldn't post without at least one star.
March 15 · PeggyThis Doctor and staff are affordable and fair. They are very friendly and compassionate. My dog had teeth removed for half the price of other vets.
November 09 · joeseph smithI just started taking my pets here and Dr Lee is very friendly and thorough. My pets are well taken care of. No unnecessary tests to hike up costs. Takes care of the problem at hand. Very reasonable price too. I am happy to have found this Vet. Plus, you don't need an appointment!!
October 28 · Gini MooreI’ve been going to Dr. Lee for my entire life, he cared for many animals of mine, and now I have a 19 year-old cat and I’ve noticed a few changes and their business practices that have made me uncomfortable. The prices of medications are 3 to 4 times the rates you’ll find on Chewy, when you paid for a service or medication, they used to waive the, I don’t know if it’s 55 or $75 fee every time you have to pay it and Go in there his answer is, “Yes, cause your cat old.”….. after getting tired of this being the constant response, I called to ask about a freckle in her eye, and he insisted on me and I said I wanna make sure this is in age related, and I asked for the possibilities could be or what the outcomes could be based on the google possibilities & refused to tell me anything, And insisted I bring in my cat for him to see ( which we know is stressful for everyone)with a bit of an attitude And told me that I’d have to pay the appointment fee, but couldn’t make any predictions as to how much I might have to pay to take care of it or what it could be …. I felt like he was sitting in front of the TV riding me off, insisting that I come in so that he could tell me my cat is old again and me for it. I made an appointment to have a conversation with Dr. Kim at I think it’s JYC Or JCY … Something like that with Dr. Kim across the street, Hoping for a better outcome
