Qualified Pet Dental Introduce
For pet parents throughout the Golden State, from San Diego to Sacramento and everywhere in between, the health and happiness of their canine and feline family members is paramount. Qualified Pet Dental offers an essential, innovative solution for preventative veterinary care, specializing in what many California residents seek: convenient, affordable, and low-stress services. As a dedicated Veterinarian service, the practice focuses heavily on dental health and core wellness, delivered via a highly efficient mobile clinic model that partners with local pet supply stores, grooming salons, and daycare facilities across the California region.
The unique offering of Qualified Pet Dental centers on their proprietary Non-Anesthetic Dental procedure, known as the Qualified Standard Dental Cleaning™. This specialized approach to oral care is critical for maintaining your pet's long-term health, as dental disease often progresses silently. Their mission is to provide a complete, preventive, all-surface cleaning, including the vital area below the gum line, without the need for general anesthesia. This addresses a significant concern for many California pet owners who worry about the risks and costs associated with traditional anesthetized dental procedures. Beyond dentistry, they offer a wide array of other preventative services, including highly sought-after Low Cost Vaccinations, making them a comprehensive resource for routine care.
The clinics are run from Mobile Treatment Centers™ which are fully-functioning, customized veterinary facilities. This ensures a clean, spacious, and quiet environment that travels with the professional team. For pet parents, the logistics are made simple:
- Service Options: Services are provided primarily as Onsite services at partner retail locations.
- Planning: Appointments are highly recommended to ensure the team is ready for your pet and remains on-site for all scheduled patients.
- Accessibility: Host locations typically offer conveniences like a Wheelchair accessible parking lot and a Wheelchair accessible restroom.
- Amenities: Restroom facilities are generally available at the host retail partner location.
- Non-Anesthetic Dental: The cornerstone service, providing a complete all-surface teeth cleaning, detailed oral exam, dental charting, and polishing without general anesthesia. This utilizes a blend of ultrasonic and manual techniques.
- Vaccination Clinics: Offering Cat And Dog Vaccinations, Core Vaccinations, and Low Cost Vaccinations to keep your pet protected against major infectious diseases like Canine Influenza and Feline Leukemia.
- Oral Health Care: Including Oral Exam, Preventive Dental Care, Cat Teeth Cleaning, Dental Cleaning For Dogs, and more specialized Canine And Feline Dental treatments.
- Parasite Control: Comprehensive Flea Prevention, Heartworm Prevention, Heartworm Testing, and Parasite Protection to guard against common threats in the California climate.
- Diagnostic Services: Access to a Diagnostic Lab for Diagnostic Lab Testing, including Dog Fecal Testing, as part of a complete wellness picture.
- Medication and Prescriptions: Prescription Medications, Drug Administration, Allergy Medications, and treatment plans for conditions like Allergic Skin Disease, Skin Conditions, and Cutaneous Infections.
- General Veterinary Care: Including a Vet Exam, Additional Veterinary Services, and basic grooming needs like Nail Trimming and Anal Gland Expression.
- Ancillary Services: Health Certificates For Travel, and connection to services like Daycare And Boarding through retail partners.
- Anesthesia-Free Expertise: They provide a viable and professionally-supervised alternative to general anesthesia, which is particularly beneficial for pets who "do not do well under anesthesia," such as senior animals or those with conditions like a heart murmur. This approach ensures the pet is kept awake, yet calm (often with sedatives, as noted by customers), throughout the procedure.
- Veterinary Supervision: Unlike some non-veterinarian dental scaling operations, every clinic is staffed with a state-licensed veterinarian who performs a preliminary wellness and temperament screen, and supervises the entire cleaning process, ensuring medical oversight is always in place.
- Maximum Convenience: By partnering with upscale, independent pet retailers and operating over 80 clinic locations across the state, they bring premium preventative veterinary services to your local, familiar, and conveniently walkable pet shop.
- Focus on Prevention and Affordability: The service is consciously designed for affordability, making essential preventative dental care and vaccinations accessible to a broader range of pet parents, which contributes significantly to the overall health of the California pet population.
- Exceptional Patient Care: Customer testimonials highlight a compassionate team that goes "above and beyond" for pets with special needs, utilizing proprietary techniques and a calm approach to minimize stress, resulting in detailed reports and timely follow-up reminders.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1These people are saving my dog’s teeth. He doesn’t do well under anesthesia, but this clinic provides sedatives that keep him awake but calm during the cleaning. I always get a detailed report afterward and reminders when it’s time for the next cleaning. They operate out of my local pet shop which is so conveniently walkable. Thanks for taking such great care of my baby!
April 18 · Sarah FraserThank you so much everyone that helped get Pinky's dental cleaning at Qualified Pet Dental. She has heart murmur and anesthetics aren't an option right now. You guys went above and beyond.💓
February 24 · V RodriguezThis is the 3rd or 4th time we have taken Sacchi to have his teeth cleaned with Qualified Pet Dental at Ushampooch in Redondo Beach. the Girls are always very professional and nice, always keeping us updated and reminding us of future appointments via txt. We know our little Sacchi is well taken care of because his pearly whites always look fantastic after a he sees the vet.Another real plus for us is they do not use Anesthesia.I highly recommend them to keep your 4 legged healthy and happy.
August 13 · Bill PattersonWe used Qualified Pet dental’s mobile dental dog teeth cleaning non anesthesia 10/5/23 at Dexter’s Pet deli in Carlsbad. This company goes to different Southern California pet stores in their mobile van and they do a wonderful reasonably priced dog cleaning, $1100 cheaper than what our local vet quoted. I believe that people let their dogs get Periodontal disease because they do not have the money to pay for what the vets charge for teeth cleaning. It was our first time and we were blown away. I told my husband if you ever go national and you sell stock in the company I’m buying…..
October 04 · Gizele FSThe teeth cleaning portion of their service is great. But during my dog's last visit, the veterinarian on staff made mention of my dog having a heart murmur. The technician who brought my dog back to me stated this and simply asked what medication she was on. I of course, was very concerned and immediately booked another physical with my dog's veterinarian. She had just had her physical 2 months prior to this teeth cleaning appointment and received a clean bill of health. When I brought my dog back to her veterinarian, she performed some extensive tests and found no signs of a heart murmur at all. So my message to owners who do bring your dogs to use this service, take their veterinarians' findings and advice with a grain of salt and trust your own veterinarian instead.
