★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I made a lot of cat care decisions this year, and it's not an exaggeration to say that picking Pet Dental Solutions was the most fortunate choice I made. My cat Violet had just been diagnosed with dental disease and reduced kidney function, and in the process of making sure Violet was cleared for dental surgery Dr. Maki 1) got her an ultrasound at a nearby hospital, 2) discovered she has kidney stones, 3) knew what treatment she needed for kidney stones, and 4) knew to send her to UC Davis Vet Med Center in San Diego to get that treatment. The non-dental care my cat received at Pet Dental Solutions was above and beyond primary care vets (and I've been to several at this point). So it's no surprise that Pet Dental Solutions offers dental care that is equally excellent. Both Violet and her brother Hugo ended up needing dental surgery, and both received stellar care for their pre-surgery consults, the actual surgery, and the post-op checks. Both cats recovered well and are back to eating both wet and dry food despite several tooth extractions. The staff was incredibly supportive through everything. Shay kept me in the loop via texts and phone calls and graciously handled my requests to postpone surgery because of Violet's kidney situation. In the days leading up to Violet's ultrasound at the other hospital, Aldo was especially helpful, trading phone calls during weekend hours and making sure Violet got booked for the things Dr. Maki recommended. And then there's bonuses like their system to get you an earlier appointment if there's a cancellation, and the fact that the office seemed to be running early or on time for each of my visits. I have no doubt that Hugo and Violet are doing well because of Pet Dental Solutions. I'd give more than five stars if I could. Thank you, thank you, thank you
August 30 · Janelle MichaelisThe last thing anyone wants is for their precious pup to go through surgery and have lots of teeth extracted. But the team here is kind, thorough and trustworthy. I know my regular vet would have done a good job too, but Pet Dental was so organized which gave me the confidence to go forward. They have the process down to a science, including text communications and follow up appointments after surgery. (My little girl also previously had a regular cleaning here, and they did a great job with that too).
May 24 · JuliaI can’t say enough great things about this place! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The office is spotless and has such a calm, clean atmosphere. It immediately put both me and my dog at ease.A huge shoutout to Shay, who was amazing. She was so kind, patient, and informative. She took the time to explain every detail about my dog’s upcoming dental surgery, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. Her compassion and knowledge really helped ease my worries.I’m so grateful to have found a place that treats both pets and their owners with such care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert dental care for their furry family members!
June 27 · Ariel GonzalezWe had such a great experience when we visited! The entire staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in, we felt well taken care of by Nancy. Dr. Hasnat and Shay took the time to sit down with us and answer every question we had about our pups dental care. They addressed our concerns and were thoughtful and thorough to set our minds at ease (we’re anxious pet parents). It’s such a relief to have found an excellent place to care for our little buddy. We highly recommend their dental services for your pets!
June 28 · J MThis is absolutely the best place to take your dog for dental procedures. My little 7 lb Maltipoo needed 7 teeth extracted (2nd opinion verified) and I was informed via phone every step of the way of her progress. At first I was a nervous wreck for fear of anesthesia. They do a pre visit of EKG and blood work to be sure your pet is well enough. As soon as she was out of anesthesia they called to tell me she's doing great and actually standing up. They kept her awhile to monitor her before going home. Everyone in the office is AWESOME! Besides doing great work, their prices were the cheapest. I will continue to take her there for her non anesthesia teeth cleaning. Her breath is so fresh now! LOVE THIS PLACE!
