★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Since I moved to Brea I've been bringing my 2 cats here for about 1 yr now and I would like to say all staffs and Dr. Shin have been soo nice and helpful everytime I come in for a visit!!! The only thing I have to say is they need to make a bigger parking area!! Keep up the good work!!!
February 02 · Serita YoungWent in for a routine rabies shot so that my dog can be registered (foreign). The vet came in and just looked at the eyes for 30 seconds, and started his sales pitch of getting medication and my dog needs surgery blabla. I would trust a car salesman over any vet and this scam artist proved it, his name was Shin. Avoid this place, these vets try their best to scare you into forking over hundreds if not thousands of dollars.Update, its been close to a year since I went to this vet. 0 problems with my pomeranian dog, she's healthier than ever. (See picture) I stand corrected with this clinic. BEWARE
May 16 · Jay JEveryone was friendly and helpful every step of the visit. After the check up Ana came up with several treatment options given my financial situation and answered all of my questions with an upbeat attitude. The entire visit was far better than I could have expected. They are the only place I will take my pet now. Thank you Dr. Shin and Ana!!
January 18 · JohnI’m really bummed to find out that we got scammed after so many years going to this vet. I trusted them and they recommend parvo vaccine to my 5 year old dog every 6 months when it should only be every 3 years. They did the same with bordetella, they recommended 6 months, but only once a year is necessary. Corona vaccine is also not really a necessary vaccine either especially for a dog that isn’t compromised or young. They also recommend DA2P annually, when it should really be given every 3 years when dog is an adult. They did the same thing with my cat, fvrcp should be given every 3 years. Too much vaccination is not healthy for the animals and can cause an adverse reaction. I will no longer be trusting this vet with my animals care. It’s very unfortunate that someone can do this to poor animals. Do your research people, it’s my fault that I didn’t look into this harder and just trusted him.
October 04 · Kailey T.Scam artist. We took our puppy here for about a year. He found all kinds of problems that needed blood work, medication, supplements, etc. After one incident where he said our pup had eye and ear infections that lasted a month (even after oral and topical medications), we started asking questions and he got angry and starting lecturing us. We took our pup to get a second opinion. The new vet did not find any of the ailments he was scamming us for. A year later, our dog gets regular checkups and shots, and the whole circus of prescribing all kinds of treatments is over. Healthy dog. Probably healthy to begin with. If you bring your pets here don’t believe everything this guys says. Shady.
