The Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located conveniently within Petco, is a primary resource focused on delivering essential wellness services that are accessible and budget-friendly. This clinic model is specifically designed to make fundamental medical care—like vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite control—easy to obtain without the added expense of traditional full-service veterinary office fees.
The clinic’s mission is centered on personalized care, ensuring every pet receives the specific treatments they need based on their age, lifestyle, and local requirements in California. By focusing on preventative and routine services, Vetco helps pet owners fulfill crucial health mandates, such as the mandatory Rabies Vaccinations, while offering comprehensive wellness packages that cover a range of diseases. This focus on express, essential care means pet owners can keep their dogs and cats protected without straining their finances, a key advantage highlighted by numerous local clients. The staff works diligently to create a positive experience, even for anxious pets, often using positive reinforcement, such as treats, to soothe them during necessary procedures like injections.

- Address: 2500 Imperial Hwy. Suite 114, Brea, CA 92821, USA
Accessibility is a core feature of the clinic’s operation, ensuring a welcoming environment for all community members. The location is equipped with several features to accommodate diverse needs:
- Wheelchair-accessible car park: Designated parking for ease of arrival and departure.

Prospective clients should call ahead to book a time slot to ensure a licensed veterinarian is on-site and ready to administer care, minimizing wait times and streamlining the visit for both the pet and the owner.
Essential Veterinary Services Offered
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in preventative and routine medical services, acting as a convenient and affordable complement to a full-service veterinary hospital. Their service offering is specifically tailored to the most crucial, recurring health needs of dogs and cats.
Key services provided at the clinic include:
- Low Cost Vaccines and Vaccination Clinics: Offering a wide range of essential vaccinations for dogs and cats, including required Rabies Vaccinations and core combination shots (such as Distemper & Parvo 5-in-1 or Feline 3-in-1 FVRCP). They provide cost-saving puppy, kitten, dog, and cat Vaccination Packages that are significantly lower than purchasing vaccines À La Carte.
- Pest & Parasite Prevention & Testing: This vital service includes Heartworm testing, Fecal testing, and dispensing prescription Heartworm and Cats Flea & Tick medications. The clinic makes Tick Protection and other parasite prevention simple and affordable.
- Microchipping: A crucial service for pet safety, Microchipping is offered at a low cost. This permanent form of identification greatly increases the chances of reuniting with a lost pet, a service many California residents consider a necessity.
- Diagnostic Testing: The clinic offers basic Diagnostic Testing and Disease Tests, such as the Feline Triple Test (FeLV/FIV/Heartworm) and Canine Heartworm & Tick-Borne Disease Tests. This helps ensure pets are healthy and can safely receive necessary vaccinations.
- Pet Pharmacy and Products: Medications for prevention, deworming, and other essential treatments are available. The clinic also leverages the Petco Pharmacy Fulfilled by Vetsource for convenient prescription fulfillment.
- Medical Services (Focused): While not a full-service hospital, they offer focused Medical Services primarily related to diagnostics, preventative measures, and counseling on Pet Adoption and necessary long-term care.
Features and Highlights for the Local Community

- Convenient Retail Location: Being situated inside Petco allows pet owners to combine their routine vaccine visit with purchasing Pet Supplies, Cat Furniture, or even utilizing the Grooming & Bathing services available in the store.
- Digital Medical Records: The system allows pet owners to easily store and access their pet's medical records directly on their phone. This feature, noted by a long-time client, ensures records are always available for licensing, travel, or proof for other veterinary offices.
- Same Day Delivery and Pharmacy Access: Clients can benefit from the availability of prescription medications, including parasite prevention, with the option for Same Day Delivery on certain products, adding a layer of convenience to pet maintenance.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They seemed to care about our pet and since was his first time he was a little scared but did really well. And was very excited about getting some peanut butter as a treat. My poor baby was crying while getting his shots but was soon calmed down with a bribe. Overall the whole experience was a positive outcome. And he was able to socialize with other dogs which i wouldn't normally allowed as he wasn't yet vaccinated until that point
May 12 · SANTIA853Vetco does such a wonderful job and their prices are so much better than going to a regular vet. I have been using Vetco for a few years now and have my dogs medical records stored in my phone from Vetco, If I need them.
March 01 · Anita PorcellaIt's okay. Just needed vaccine. If you need something like that quick and not too expensive?I do feel like they try to up charge you on things, but no pressure. Just say "no" or "I'll think about it."
November 25 · Mary DavisRegarding Vetco - make sure to triple check they give your pets the vaccines you ask for. I ended up paying for a vaccine I didn't ask for (thought they administered Canine flu vaccine because that was one I requested, but they gave Leptospirosis $42), and now I have to make an appointment for the right vaccine, which is very inconvenient and also going to cost. I will not be going back to this location. They get some stars though because half of the staff were nice and the vaccinations were fast. Though incorrect.
February 12 · J HKnowledgeable vet's, for a small service outfit. Great for vaccines, microchip. Nearly the best for pricing! If you can't do it yourself. Thanks VetCo!
