★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dog was bitten by a baby rattlesnake so we immediately jumped in the car. I called ahead to alert them of what happened and Jordan (at reception) said to walk right in when we arrived. Sure enough when we came in they grabbed her and took her straight back to start treatment. Dr. Cross walked us through the protocol to treat this life threatening bite and answered all of our questions. Although my husband and I were stressed and scared (and I was crying), we felt our furbaby was in the best of hands. She spent the night and was discharged the next morning. Anna was one of the vet techs who watched over her and provided care for our dog during her stay. She said she really enjoyed taking care of her and it was so comforting to hear. Thank you also to Teresa who was monitoring her throughout the night. I can't thank the entire staff enough for their love and professionalism. We felt as thought they treated our dog as if she was their own. It is clear they are all passionate about what they do. Thank you for saving our girl. We are beyond grateful.
April 14 · Heather Kohler ValpredaTook my young 11 month old Labrador puppy Ollie in early on a Sunday morning when I awoke and he was horribly swollen and very uncomfortable. They took him back immediately, and were very caring. The pricing is very fair and transparent. I have had multiple experiences with other dogs with emergency vets for various issues, and this BY FAR was the most transparent, thorough, and complete. Ollie is on the mend from an allergic reaction to likely swallowing a bee or bug. - and the staff even fielded my call very early Monday morning when he was uncomfortable to get some further treatment advice. I am grateful for this facility, and it is definitely the “go to” for my emergency needs going forward.
April 28 · Stacey McIlroyLast evening, just before dinner, I took my dog, Luke, for quick walk to a green belt about a half block away. While we walked in the grass, my Jack Russell terrier stepped on a black bee. My dog, quickly, started licking his hind paw. I saw the bee and brushed it away, as my dog began limping and licking at his foot. I rushed him to Animal Urgent Care in Mission Viejo where he was treated promptly by Dr. Kimberly Hanzlik and team. They found the bee's stinger in Luke's foot and extracted it. An order of Metacam was prescribed for Luke as well as a few bites of chicken to eat before ingesting the Metacam. Luke was in pain until he took his medicine and then slept all night long in comfort!Thank you Dr. Hanzlik and team for taking "excellent" care of my little Jack Russell, Luke. He's walking normally today and stopped liking his wound shortly after swallowing his dose of Metacam. Oh, and he loved the bites of chicken, too! Most sincerely,Patricia W. and Luke
July 17 · PatriciaThank you for taking great care of our puppy (Minnie) overnight after her fall from the 2nd floor. Thank God she is okay. Some people have commented on the reviews that this place is pricey but you get what you pay for. Service is great, we were able to call throughout the night to see how Minnie was doing. Staff was very caring and took Minnie in right away. Veterinarian is on staff all night and called us at the end of her shift. Needless to say we are very satisfied. I highly recommend.
February 22 · D BOur puppy had an allergic reaction to a bee sting. I called first and they immediately put me at ease telling me we had time to bring him in to be treated. They took great care of him, explained the treatments required in detail and kept us updated throughout the process. Everyone on staff was friendly, efficient, and sincerely cared about our fur baby! Comforting to know they are there when needed. Only emergency vet service we will use! Thanks for the outstanding care!
