The hospital is worth choosing for its convenient location and accessible facilities, as well as its focus on providing essential veterinary services like routine exams, preventative care, and spaying/neutering. The positive reviews highlight a compassionate and dedicated staff who are capable of handling anxious pets with a calm and gentle demeanor. The account of Dr. Kimmelman and Jennifer's excellent care and the clean facility are strong selling points that would appeal to any pet owner.
However, it is crucial to also consider the negative feedback. The review detailing the loss of a pet due to a perceived misdiagnosis and a poor experience with staff and a specific doctor should not be overlooked. Such a review, while it may be an isolated incident, raises serious concerns about consistency of care and client empathy. The conflicting reports make this a practice where a potential client may want to read multiple reviews and possibly visit in person to gauge their comfort level before committing to long-term care. While the hospital has its champions, it also has critics, and a pet owner's decision will ultimately rest on whether they feel confident in the care they will receive.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My beloved Golden Retriever suddenly collapsed and died from what I deem was a misdiagnosis from Dr. Polo. I have depended on him in the past, but this time he let me down. Instead of ordering an x-ray to see if she had a blockage, he only prescribed antibiotics which did nothing. I was bringing her for a follow up on a Tuesday, but she couldn’t hang on and died the prior Sunday. Should I blame him? Yes, I do. The staff was terrible. I brought my other Golden in for an appointment that was supposed to be for my Olivia who passed. They told me they had no record of Olivia, hence they had no appointment. They proceeded to charge me for an emergency visit for Marcus. When calling to ask for a $20 refund, they said it was my fault for not calling them. I told him I was grief stricken with the loss of my beloved Olivia. That didn’t matter and it was all my fault. I have major regrets taking my other Golden, Marcus for that visit. His wife shoved the medication down his ears while the dog cried in pain. There was no concern, there was no empathy, it was as If she was getting even with me for bringing Marcus in for an appointment.Prior to this during Olivia’s last appointment, Dr. Polo was dismissive and abrupt. He had something going on at the time and he rushed me out of the office.I tried to discard my observation, but my sister who was with me felt the same way. This Practice has changed since moving to this new location. They are heartless and uncaring, no matter what anyone says. I was treated very poorly, and my dogs are bearing the brunt of their bad behavior. My beloved Olivia was only nine years old and had good years left on her life. The only thing I’m guilty of is taking her to this practice. Never again!
July 16 · Barbara HamiltonDr. Kimmelman and Jennifer were awesome!! I brought my two cats to get shots and they even examined and looked them over a little. My boy cat Mylo was so scared but they made him feel so comfortable and were so sweet to both my cats and recommended some things to put in my new apartment. I even noticed when I got in the car she put a nice comment to hope my move is easy. They went above and beyond! The place was so clean and they made it fast and easy! I will definitely be returning to them and fully recommend them! 😻😻
September 29 · Ariel ScarpatoI want to thank Dr Pole and his staff for taking care of my cat Hank for the Last 13 and half years. I had to euthanize Hank who was the best cat I have ever had. He was more like a dog than a cat. Hank helped me get through hip surgery, neck surgery and prostrate cancer treatment. I cannot be more thankful for Dr Pole helping Hank get to a better place where he would not be in pain or suffering anymore.
September 18 · george cernigliaI am a retired physician and I demand a lot in medical or veterinarian care. I trust Dr. Polo.
