As a comprehensive animal hospital, veterinarian, and veterinary pharmacy, Bond Vet offers an extensive list of services that cater to the diverse needs of dogs and cats.
Primary & Preventive Care: Routine visits, annual exams, wellness exams, puppy and kitten visits, and regular checkups are all part of their core offerings. They provide essential preventive treatments like vaccinations, parasite control, and flea and tick prevention.
Urgent & Emergency Care: For those unexpected "uh-oh" moments, Bond Vet provides urgent and emergency veterinary care for sick visits, wound care, eye issues, and more. This is a key service that bridges the gap between a regular vet and a full-scale 24-hour emergency clinic.
Surgical Procedures: The clinic is equipped to handle a wide range of Routine Surgeries, including Spay and Neuter operations, dental procedures like Dental Extractions, and other soft tissue surgeries like mass removal.
Diagnostic & Lab Services: They offer Digital X-Rays, blood tests, fecal exams, and other diagnostic testing to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, from dog allergies to urinary tract infections.
On-Site Pharmacy: A key feature of Bond Vet is its on-site veterinary pharmacy. This allows for the immediate dispensing of prescription medications, including heartworm preventatives, pain relievers, and prescription diets, offering ultimate convenience for pet parents.
Several key features and highlights distinguish Bond Vet from other pet care providers in New York City, making it a standout choice for pet owners.

Compassionate and Expert Staff: Reviews consistently praise the "compassionate vets" and the staff's kindness, patience, and professionalism. The team, from the front desk to the veterinarians, is celebrated for making pets and their owners feel at ease.
Same-Day and Urgent Care: The ability to get a Same-Day Appointment is a major advantage for busy New Yorkers. This emphasis on urgent veterinary care provides a much-needed option for unexpected health issues without the high cost of a 24-hour emergency hospital.
Inclusivity and Community: As a women-owned business that identifies as LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space, Bond Vet fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone in the community.
Transparent and Upfront Pricing: While some customers have noted that the price point can be on the higher side, a key highlight for many is the upfront and clear discussion of costs. The staff provides an itemized list of recommended services and associated prices before any procedures are performed, allowing owners to make informed decisions.

When choosing a veterinary clinic and pharmacy in a city like New York, it's worth considering what truly matters for your pet's health and your own peace of mind. Bond Vet - Upper East Side stands out because it combines modern convenience with a compassionate, professional approach. The fact that they offer an on-site pharmacy is a huge benefit, as it saves you an extra trip and ensures you get your pet's medications and prescription diets immediately. The emphasis on being a place for both routine visits and urgent care is another significant advantage, giving you a reliable place to turn to for most of your pet’s needs. The positive reviews speak volumes about the quality of care; the team's ability to make a pet's first visit a "positively different experience" and their "care and expertise" during a major procedure like a spay are powerful testaments to their commitment. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had my puppy Annabel spayed today at this location by Dr Yoon. We arrived 8:30 am and I picked her up at 1 pm. They were great, and gave puppy a Certificate of Bravery, which made my day! All went smoothly and done with care and expertise. Recommend highly
May 15 · Lynda WigginsI am a regular costumer and I always bring my cats here for checkup- majorly because the place is clean and there is always appointment available. I started noticing the price goes up a lot in our last visit, the annual check up price was something $90 now it’s $130 or $140. With two appointments, the doctor only spent less than 30 mins with my two cats - and most of time she was discussing the price of the check she recommended, and of course everything test is needed and required. In the end I paid $1700 just for annual check ups and vaccine for two healthy cats. I have been to other vet before, but I think this place is most aggressive of selling and the price is definitely on higher side.
June 07 · Jenny ZhouThis clinic is extremely clean; very pleasant environment; amazing staff; nurse and veterinarian caring and attentive to details. Very positive experience. Just transferred my pet’s care to them. Highly recommend it!
July 31 · Ingrid SousaFirstly, I have to apologize to the girl at the reception. I might was rude because of being upset. I’m sorry. We had 2 visits to this clinic. 09/03 and 09/15. Unfortunately my fur baby passed away.I’m thankful to both doctors we have been seen by for explaining everything clearly and correctly. With first advices our kitty was able to live extra 10 days. Also while today’s visit even with such a painful situation, talking to the doctor (I’m sorry I even didn’t ask the name) I was feeling better than all these last hours. And more calm. All the paper work was done very easy today and I’m so thankful for that. For more than 3 months I was the happiest cat-mom with the perfect fur baby. And also both times with emergency situations without scheduling we didn’t have to wait for a long time. Very friendly employees. Everyone.
September 15 · Olha WatsonWe've taken our sweet 15-year old cat, Katie, to Bond Vet on 62nd street a couple times. She had some teeth extracted in 2024 by Dr. Karandikar and recently for drainage of a cyst by Dr. De Koning. The staff are phenomenal and so gentle with her. I have no reservations with recommending the vets or this location to others.
