★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When I moved from Colorado to New Jersey, one of the first things I did was look for a doctor for my 17-year-old kitty and her 5-year-old Sister. My Sister recommended CKAH, I'm so glad she did. Last year, I had to let Cassis go; she had cancer. The staff and doctor were so kind, I didn't want to let her go, but I knew it was the right thing to do.I really like Cross Keys Animal Hospital and am so glad they are helping me take the best care of my Anakat & Tyjan.
July 08 · Lesa C.The staff at Cross Keys Animal Hospital always make things so much easier for me and my reactive dog Radar. They understand his needs and are very caring towards him. His last visit was awesome. A tech met us at the door and cleared the waiting area for us to keep safe as well as the other person who was there with their dog and young child. I was able to pass through with Radar without having him react to that dog or the people.Dr. Quinn always shows concern and is willing to help in any way she can. She even took off her lab coat for the visit as we think Radar might not like the coat. :)A big thank you to everyone who made this visit a lot less stressful for us. Keep up the awesome work.
August 26 · Lorraine WhitmanI brought my cat there after urgent care saying she needed iv fluid for being dehydrated in January 2025. She wasn't eating or drinking. We recently placed her on prozac as recommended by urgent care for behavioral issues. I explained this and that I believed that this was probably a side affect.... As she was physically fine before. The vet Alyssa Quinn was assigned to her care. She said that she didn't know a lot about prozac and cats. She gave her iv fluids. Ordered xrays and and blood work. Blood work came back as kidney functions declining and xrays showed an enlarged kidney. I said can't that be due to prozac as all tests were normal 1 month beforehand. But again not enough experience with this....she said likely kidney cancer. I said what? This was my baby i bottle raised from birth because her mom died shortly after child birth complications. I asked...can't these results be from anything else? She said an infection but no infection was shown...I said what should I do? She said if it were my cat I would put her to sleep..so she doesn't suffer... I was beyond devastated. I said what? My baby? For 12 years? I was at work when she told me this. I said...can I think about it? This was on a Wednesday...I said can I think about it until Saturday? She said...you can but but I can't guarantee she will make it that long...you might wake up to her dead body. I was beside myself with grief and pain. I said well I cannot put her to sleep and leave her there. I will pick her up and think about it. She said that's fine ...you can spend time with her saying goodbye and then bring her back for euthanasia. I brought her home and my son and I Nursed her back to being well again...eating and drinking. Then Brought her to another vet...had her blood tested... they found an infection. Gave her antibiotics. Fast forward to august 2025. 7 months later. She is doing amazing! Eating well...infection free...and to think I almost lost my little girl laila....had two human boys..always wanted a little girl....never did. Thats how I had my laila girl...my pretty girl...cat that was almost taken from me due to the negligence of alyssa quinn and cross keys animal hospital. Shameless! Stay far away from them!
