★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough good things about Durham Vet! Dr. Kumar and Dr. Berkowski are so kind, knowledgeable, and truly care about every animal like they’re their own. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming - you feel it as soon as you walk in.The hospital is also the cleanest vet clinic I’ve ever seen. It’s spotless and clearly very well taken care of, which just shows how much pride they take in everything they do.They’ll be doing my dog’s spay soon, and I have complete trust that she’ll be in the best hands. I wouldn’t go anywhere else - they’ve earned my full confidence and lifelong loyalty!
July 24 · Theresa PerryMy dog was examined for a arthritic back leg on a Monday. She was prescribed 2 medications and within 3 days she was gone. I tried to get her back to the vet mid week because I thought she might be having a reaction to 1 med and explained she was lethargic, couldn't get up and stopped eating, but was told to come in the following Monday. Even after emailing Dr. Kumar, I received no response. The staff claims I failed to explain my dogs symptoms in their reply, which is not true. Totally disappointed and would not recommend taking your pet there.
July 11 · steve KwieragaDurham vet is the best!!! All the staff are super friendly and it's always easy to schedule an appointment, often on the same day. Dr. Norton is very experienced with fancy rats, and don't charge an extra arm and a leg because they're "exotics", like many other vets. They are great about giving you multiple options for treatment and not immediately over-treating or only recommending the most expensive treatment. Once, my rat needed antibiotics and they went out of their way to get the 'right' kind of cherry syrup from their other office that rats find palatable before I even got there- I suspect this is just one example of how they go the extra mile to provide excellent care. The office is super clean and pretty and they have free coffee and hot chocolate. Even without the coffee they have my business for life!
March 22 · Eve SchneiderDurham Vet is very expensive. The doctors and techs are great. The new front desk staff is awkward and a bit cold. We always felt very welcomed - now they barely look at you in the eye. Needs definitely improvement there.
January 19 · Amanda KarrosI am a nurse and couldn't make an appointment due to an emergency at my unit..had to cancel..I realize it was a late cancelation..but I was totally upset that they wanted a deposit before rescheduling..so I " moved" on to a different vet office..I would think they would understand emergencies..they must have some experience with them...' feeling like it's all about the $$$
