This facility is more than just a place to get a yearly vaccine; it’s a partner in your pet’s lifelong health journey. From the moment you step into their clean and beautifully designed space, you can feel the dedication and professionalism of the staff. They understand that a vet visit can be a stressful time for both pets and their humans, and they go to great lengths to create a welcoming and calming environment. The focus here is on preventative care, transparent communication, and a patient-centric philosophy that puts your pet’s well-being first. For a New Yorker who values convenience and high-quality service, GoodVets in Downtown Brooklyn is a refreshingly modern option.
The commitment to client and patient satisfaction is clearly reflected in the positive reviews from the local community. One "new puppy parent" expressed their love for every experience with GoodVets, praising the staff for being "so friendly" and always happy to answer their questions. The review highlights a sense of partnership, stating the staff helped them "make the best decisions for our puppy." Another client noted how their dog "absolutely loves the people at Good Vets," appreciating their friendly demeanor, genuine care, and the spotless facility. A particularly telling review mentioned that the staff is "professional and super friendly" and that they "don't push unnecessary services," instead explaining everything clearly and allowing the pet owner to make their own informed decisions. This transparency, along with the obvious love for animals, fosters a deep sense of trust that is invaluable in a veterinary practice. The fact that the hospital is identified as women-owned and is an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safespace also speaks to a broader commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone in the diverse Brooklyn community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My pup absolutely loves the people at Good Vets. They are extremely friendly, care about my dog and always make us feel welcome. It doesn’t hurt that they have great treats for my dog as well humans. The facility is spotless!
August 08 · Matti BaltrusaitisAs new puppy parents we’ve loved every experience with GoodVets in Downtown Brooklyn! The staff is so friendly and happily answers all our questions or concerns. They’ve helped us make the best decisions for our puppy and we couldn’t be happier!
April 14 · Namisha RakhejaJust brought in my cat for her annual and had a great experience with the vet and vet tech. My cat loved them, so that’s a good sign! They were very upfront about the recommended procedures and their prices, but also didn’t pressure us at all to do them. GoodVets indeed!
January 17 · Juan ChavezIf I could give more stars I would! I know my pup is always in great hands here, the GoodVets team is so nice and very caring. They make it very easy to be a good and confident pet parent. The office is also very clean. When I take my pup on walks, she always stops in front of the office door and cries wanting to “see her friends” (as we call it). She is my fifth dog and until now, I’ve never seen a dog excited to see their vet office, let alone cry to go inside. If they saw humans, I would happily choose them as my own doctors ❤️
July 22 · Amanda GrossmanI brought my new puppy in for a wellness exam, and from start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Dr. Betancourt was incredibly kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. He took the time to make Milo feel comfortable and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. The entire staff was welcoming and clearly passionate about animals. I left feeling confident that Milo is in great hands. It’s such a relief to have a vet who genuinely cares and takes the time to build trust with both the pet and the owner.Thank you all so much for taking such wonderful care of my boy. We’ll definitely be back!
